Wagner could score on anybody, you have to love him.

<hr /></blockquote><font class="post"> Thats why he's at 14.5 points a game?! LMAO and any one can score as much as A.I. if they chucked the ball up that much....I may be young but i remember when players actually shot over 50 percent and $hit, this league is getting pathetic. So no he is not the next A.I. he's not even close, but he is ALMOST as fast and WAY stronger. It's all about athletes and not about basketball players. Look at nash not even as athletic as 95 percent of the guys he faces yet he kills em all cause he knows and plays BASKETBALL, not this glorified streetball $hit. That's why europeons are in vouge at least they know what basketball is moving without the ball teamwork, court vision, JUMP shots. I mean watch ESPN classic and watch the old games even the centers could consistanly make 15 footers. This league is trash save for a few players. And A.I. and Wagner and players of their sorts are the reason why.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

    A little bit harsh...

If you watch those same videos, you rarely see any 7 foot, 6'10 ATHLETIC guys in those games. Todays guards have a whole diferent defensive beast in front of them.

It's easy to kock down open J's when the nearest defender is a slow, unathletic player. You have much more time to shoot. Watch those games and there was rarely a guy in anyone's face.

Coaching changes also. Iverson shoots when double teamed...which means a Sixer is free to get boards. It's part of their game plan.

You should think a bit more before slagging a guy like AI.

Yeah, there was rarely a guy in their face because THEY WERE MOVING THE BALL AROUND. A lost skill in the NBA. Now it's dribble dribble, stand around, dribble dribble, chuck up crap. Quite honestly, the NBA is crap right now. I've watched less and less bball now because if I wanted to watch 35-40% shooters, I'd go down to the rec center, lol.

            Why so angry?
Hey look!!, Vince is again the leading vote-getter and he hasn't done SH-T for a season and a half!!! .
Check it out!!!, Da' Franchise plays one-on-one all night and the forums are blazing hot with love for him.
The LeBron marketing and promo gigs will generate 50 times as much revenue as anything Duncan or Kidd will ever endorse.
And then we blame the athletes for how they play?
We encourage selfish, uninspired play. We STRONGLY support athleticism over intensity and court awareness. WE constantly talk about KOBE vs T-MAC, while guys like Duncan, Finley, Stackhouse and Wallace quietly put together excellent seasons. ( Go ahead and start a post about these guys and peep the apothy, 8 or 9 replies tops.)
Until we stop lavishing $$$$$ and more importantly, FAN SUPPORT onto players with questionable desire to WIN , the teams and the agents will continue to emphasize and develop the "Sportscenter" player over the "gritty competitor"
Ask yourself: if you were in 6'-5" in jr. high, whose game would you emulate T-MAC or Kidd ? Whose game will provide for your children for generations? Whose game will have Nike callin' your house day and night?
OUR $$$ CREATES THESE PLAYERS.......Don't blame them for giving the people what they want

Not so fast my friend...A.I. played behind Stackhouse his rookie year. And like someone else mentioned moving the ball is key!!! That's why the mavs are such "good" shooters. Every team has good shooters on it. But not every team moves the ball. Also A.I. USED to be my favorite player till I saw how much of a egomaniac he was. He doesn't care about winning IF he did he would'nt have complained about not being the number one option anytime he "felt" he wasn't shooting enough. He pushed Stack out the door imagine Stack with that team the year they went to the finals... They wouldn't of won but the would have had a better showing. He did the same with Hughes and Timmy too. And don't go on about how great he is, he may well be the fastest player ever in the league. But I remember a lil guy who did the same thing he did for a couple of years and he shot way better and not many people will know who he is Micheal Adams. And he was 5'10".

thats why I love to watch the sonics play. They move the ball around and practically every player can hit a jumper. Then they lost 6 straight stopped hustling and hitting shots, because they weren't moving the ball because they didn't trust each other. Then they go out and beat the Mavericks playing like they were when they were 8-2. This pisses me off.

Wagner is a pretty good player, but shooting 35.7%!!! DAYUM!!!!!! That's worse than AI, and I didn't know that could happen.
