This is the second time in the past week someone is calling Kyle Korver's contract bad. It isnt. He makes something like 12 million for the next 3 years, an average of 4 million each year. He averages 13 points and 4 rebounds, with excellent shooting percentages.
You may not like his game or want him on your team, then fine. But his deal is well worth the skills he's putting on the court.
I am pretty sure that there is no "limit". Its a soft cap, to where teams can go over the salary cap and its ok. The problem is at a certain amount (somewhere between 67-70 million I think), teams pay a luxary tax, which is an extra dollar for every dollar a team is over that amount. Most owners refuse to go over that.
