I don't know... it was an obvious Offensive foul... but like the Reggie Miller said, "Wade just got the same call at the other end..."

I agree.. it pains me to watch him this season. He's NOT the same player as he was last season, and the prior season.

He definitely hasn't "gone up a level" this season like he did his first seasons...

He's a great player...but it's just not fair the way he gets the MJ comparisons.

In my eyes, he's degressed in SO many areas. I don't know what the deal is, but he has no drive whatsoever, and it's so dissappointing. Here's a guy who could easily get to the hoop ANY TIME he wants to...but doesn't for some unknown reason. He'd rather pound the ball on the outside, and wait for a screen and roll.. in which he'll step back for a jumper.

It's disheartening to see a kid with so much potential, waste it.

Get ready for Amare to posterize someone.

What a difference Amare's inside presence makes. Only a regular season game but the Suns are now 19-0 when holding their opponent under 100.

suns are finally stepping up. They just need to beat dallas, jazz, and lakers to make up for their poor start.

Spurs didn't play well at all, but a win is a win and the suns hadn't beaten a quality team in a while though you could argue that they weren't playing nearly as well as they are now. Regardless, I think they have as good a chance as anybody in the West.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Suns won, huh? I missed the game (I'm at work) but I did tape it so I can watch it later.

'Bout time they beat a team like the Spurs. Hopefully this will carry into the post-season if the meet the Spurs, since the Spurs seem to have the Suns' number in the playoffs.

Dallas got over the hump against the Spurs last year. Maybe Phoenix can this year if they run into them.

Note to EVERYONE: The Suns don't create their own schedule.

I was PROUD of this team tonight. We started out TERRIBLY, and had the drive to continue and get back into it.

Amare is a damn beast. I wish he was this intense every night. The way he crashed the boards tonight was AMAZING.

I think the reason why the Suns' quality of opponents was brought up was because against the top teams in the West, they don't have a good record.

But trust me, I'd rather see the Suns win it all than to have the Spurs win. I'm just hoping they have the confidence to beat the Spurs in the playoffs if they meet them. They have the physical tools to beat them, but can they get over the mental hurdle?

By the way, regarding Dick Bavetta....Jerry Stackhouse said it best:

                            ----------------------

"Somebody saw Bavetta get off the bus [Wednesday] night and I thought, 'Oh, [expletive].' I knew what was coming," Stackhouse told The (Fort Worth) Star-Telegram.

"It's tough to come on the road in this environment and have to play agains the refs, too," Stackhouse told the paper. "[Expletive] Dick Bavetta. I'm tired of his [expletive]. It's like the game is about him. He just needs to call the game and call the fouls."

                            ----------------------

Not to be a ***** of the Suns, but the Spurs did play a hard fought game between another good team the Jazz the day before....... on the road, no less........

But if you're the Suns, you have to start somewhere. They practically had a 7 man rotation out there, I give props to getting it done with 7 players after Raja got injured.

Barbosa could prove quite handy for the squad come playoff time if he plays like he did last night.

Not to be a homer for the Suns but half of there losses this season have come on tough back to back games, to the top West teams at that when they had a lineup that didn't have Amare starting.

Point is excuses are for amateurs, they play the schedule they're given and don't make excuses for their losses and most importantly for their wins.

Every team has back to back games that are tough. Deal with it. Accountability, seems like it's a great mystery to our current generation.
