Re: Give Isaiah Thomas some credit: Please
Maybe it is a stretch to put in him in the top five BUT he's doing a good job this year. Just for them to be in playoff contention is remarkable.
Thomas may not be a top five coach BUT I'd him over Scott Skiles right now. Skiles is one of the worst coaches in the league...if not, THEE worst coach in the league.I have more respect for a man who let's me know where he stands, even if he's wrong. Than the one who comes up like an angel and is nothing but a devil. - Malcolm XComment

Re: Give Isaiah Thomas some credit: Please
The only reason people are saying he is doing a "good job" now is because of how bad we were with LB before him. They have surpased their last year's win total yeah, but only three games. In the last two weeks they have lost to the Celtics and the Sixers. There's really nothing more to say than that. The Knicks are too inconsistent. I could see Isiah using the Crawford injury as a way to salvage his job for at least another year. This whole thread could have just been summed up with two words: no way.NBA: New York Knicks
NCAA: Duke
MLB: New York Yankees
NFL: New York JetsComment

Re: Give Isaiah Thomas some credit: Please
I will never give a guy that absolutely destroyed this franchise credit just because he had one semi decent season. You gotta be out of your mind thinking any true knicks fan would give Issiah credit for anything he will ever do in the future other than a championship. That's how much he has drove this franchise into the ground."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Re: Give Isaiah Thomas some credit: Please
How can you say that?
This team was in the playoffs every year before Issiah got here. Sure we weren't winning championships every year but this team was alot better off before IT got the GM job."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Re: Give Isaiah Thomas some credit: Please
Kinda everybody was tired of seeing players like Othella Harrington, Shandon Anderson and Howard Eisley, just to name a couple, be making top dollars...WTF did we trade for these guys? And Layden couldn't do squat to help our situation, only made it worse by each trade. Couldn't draft well, trade, nor answer the media's/critic's questions. I don't know why Dolan kept the guy for so long?
I would say IT is a big improvement over our past GM. He inherited Layden's mess and has been trying to make the best of it ever since.Last edited by AI_Franchise; 04-16-2007, 08:55 PM.Comment
