Pippen a Laker? Brand a Nugget? Miller a Jazzman?

Tonight a Dallas sportswriter, Duane Price aka "The Hoochie-mama," talked about a number of things. First of all, he said the Sacramento Kings will be the 2003 NBA Champions after they beat NJ in the Finals. This guy is probably the only one in Dallas who is down to earth. Just to recap, he picked Sacramento and Dallas in the WCF, and then Sacramento goes on to beat NJ for the title. That's what will happen unless Bibby, Webber, or another Sacramento superstar takes a fall.

Anway, rumors goin round the league say Scottie Pippen will be a Laker next season. He'd like to finish off his career with Phil. Since the Clips have done nothing after improving tremendously this season, Brand is Denver bound to cash in and possibly help them make the playoffs for the first time in forever. Also, Stockton is done after this season and Andre Miller has already hinted he would like to return to the SLC and play the role he did in college at the UofU. He would be paid the money he deserves and getting all the minutes he wants. Not to mention he'd get to run with Harpring (an All*Star snub) and Kirilenko (AK47). He'd get to play for Jerry Sloan who makes his players work hard and it pays off with wins and playoff appearances.

Could we see JKidd join TD in San Antonio next season? Or could we see Duncan join TMac in Orlando?

First off there is no way it will be Sac and Dallas in the WCF and I'll tell you why, Dallas just won't get that far this year. Now I'm a Pistons fan but I like the Lakers a lot and I'll admit I don't know if they've got it this year to get past Sac if they even get that far. But I see Portland having a better shot at it than Dallas, it's just Dallas can't win when it counts and that's the play-offs. Even Minnesota has a better chance to go to the WCF IMO than Dallas.

I'd love to see Pippen go to LA though that would be a great move for him and the Lakers. They could really use someone like him that could average about 10-15ppg and every now and then go off for 25-30 points.

Don't forget, Denver has a draft pick, too. Maybe we'll get lucky, win the lottery, and sign King James himself. Attendence would skyrocket, we would be much better, and who knows, maybe even an NBA Championship calibur team.
