The Knicks : who'd have thought we'd see this!

IT to remain as coach on a multi year deail.

Stevie Franchise back to some sort of form.

Great to see. I've always felt they were crazy not playing Francis.

Crawford is your classic "win one game on his own / lose five games through craphouse shot selection". His injury was a blessing in disguise IMO.

Incidentally, Francis couldn't have been too injured all that time. He was supposedly doubtful to ever play again.

Crawford goes down...two weeks later Stevies putting up 25, 7 and 5.

I love the way the team is playing but I don't like the Isiah deal. He's been pretty good with the team but he doesn't deserve a multi year extension. Dolan should have at least waited till the end of the season to survey the progress.

Agreed. Strange timing and it puts a tonne of pressure on Dolan.

If the Knicks really kick on...he'll look good.

However, if the Knicks slide from here.............he's going to get absoultely hammered by the media and fans. Everyone will say the players relaxed due to having secured IT his job.

Hopefully they've enough drive to make the playoffs. They seem a pretty tight group nowadays.

I hope it's 2 or 3 years, not 4 or 5. I doubt Dolan is that stupid. Courtvision you're right. All the pressure is on Dolan for making such an early decision. If they tank he's still stuck with Isiah. I guess he didn't really need to see a lot of progress. We're playing well and we're in the 8th spot. It's also the 8th spot in the East. We're playing much better than last year and the chemistry is there but I still think it's to early for an extension. I'd like to know what Dolan was looking for as progress.

Isiah has all the players behind him too. That didn't hurt his chances. Eddy Curry saying he'll leave if Isiah leaves was friggin hillarious though. I think Dolan planned on giving him an extension all along. If he was gonna fire him he would have fired him before this year. Isiash made the Knicks a completely overpaid mess. Now he has his chance to clean it up.

He deserves it. He's been the Knicks best coach since Van Gundy.

Steve plays well for a few weeks, then everything goes downhill. I don't expect the Knicks to make the playoffs... but with the way my Magic are playing, who knows.

It's good to see this organization get some hope after all the down years post-Patrick Ewing. They've got some really solid players on that team... with my man David Lee doin' all the dirty work.

The Knicks are 5 games under .500 and this season is a success? James Dolan might be the dumbest owner in the history of sports.

To go from a "lock" to be the worst team in the NBA, to being in the playoffs right now is a success.

They have no shot at doing anything in the playoffs. When Issiah took over, the Knicks made the playoffs in 2004 and ended up getting swept. Making the playoffs in the Eastern Conference is not a success.
