    Yes.

I like him as a coach, I don't like him as a GM. But Dolan said he needed to show significant process, and he has.

Rewarding mediocrity in other words a typical Dolan move.

Not happening. I think I called this at the beginning of the season, or when they made that trade for Francis. They have a solid team. They are a playoff team seriously. All these players they have are good players. Players that were once cream of the crop in the league in one way or the other. Maybe not the cream, but they were serious factors in deciding games. It wouldn't surprise me if they played .500 ball for the rest of the season and get a higher seeding than #8.

One thing that really has my brain going through a thing is the whole Larry Brown thing. Now, seeing how Isaiah comes in and has an impact so quickly, is he a better coach than Larry? What makes one person a better coach than another? Personally, I think the prefer coaches that take average players, degenerates, adn the lowliest athletes, and turns them into something more than expected. Of course, great coaches come in all shapes and sizes. I wonder if Larry Brown was trying to tank the season so he could walk away from the situation with money in his pocket.......

That could definitely happen again if they stay the 8 seed and have to play the Pistons. I'd rather play Cleveland or Washington than the Pistons.

Re: The Knicks : who'd have thought we'd see this!

As a die-hard Knick Fan, I am very happy with the way the team has played the last couple of month's. I have enjoyed watching this team this year, more than I did last year. The play hard almost every night & except for a handful of blowouts, lately have been in every game they've played.

Isiah the coach has done a gr-8 job on getting the players to belief in his philosophy. Now as GM he's been OK. I personally don't believe in his "Build via TRADE not via DRAFT" philosophy. Hopefully he'll stop mortgaging the Future of this franchise with such Philosophy.

As for them making the playoffs, I think they will make the playoffs & give who ever they play a handful. Trust me they won't get swept this time around

Thing is that if they do get swept, they'd learn something from the playoffs. Personally, it was the same concept as when the Bulls were young and were playing. They learned how to get their chemistry flowing properly. You always learn from your mistakes. I'm pretty sure that whoever they play will have a hard time against them. I hope they do make the playoffs and give that #1, 2, or 3 a run for their money. Learn from experience. Plus, isn't Crawford suppose to return in the playoffs if they make it??

Except they don't have anywhere near the talent that the Bulls have. NY Times had a great story about the Knicks and Isiah basking in their mediocrity. The Celtics have better younger talent, the Sixers have better younger talent, the Raptors have better younger talent, and the Nets have better overall talent. The Knicks are back to last place next year.

Agree 100% this team is still a long way from being in good shape. Besides Lee and Frye we have no young talent at all. The only good thing about this season is seeing us keep the Bulls out of the lottery. I think I would have puked seeing them taking Oden or Durant with what should be our pick.

Since when did Eddy Curry become old? He's only 4-5 months older than those 2. Are you using the fact he came out from high school against him?

True he is just as young as those two. Like you said it just seems like he's older because he came out of HS. Yeah you can add him to the list. But that still doesn't change my opinion that they are still a long ways away.

Eddy Curry can definitely score but he can't do much else. He's a very bad rebounder and defender for his size. Chris Bosh is already much better than him, and I honestly think that Al Jefferson might be better right now too. Curry is inconsistent and doesn't seem like the type of player to build around.

Besides David Lee, what other young good talent do the Knicks have? Marbury and Francis are already past their primes in my opinion. Jamal Crawford is young but I don't think he'll ever be more than a streaky scorer. All Channing Frye can do is shoot jumpers. Can anyone else on the Knicks even have talent?

The Knicks are definitely playing better this year but is there any young, improving player that seems like they can carry the franchise?

No Question about it. Now with IT staying, the question becomes if they do come that "long way" and put it all together, will IT be around to bear the fruits
