Said it once and will say it again. The kid is no "victim" in any of this and his crew is playing the system just as much as being played. Tired of who is making money and who isn't, everyone is profiting now (including James) and will profit even more in the future. Is the kid surrounded by idiots? Maybe...making stupid choices, however; keeping his name in the headlines. No better way to ride that King James express into the draft than on top. (bling bling) If he can amke tons of money go for it, just hope this all for the hype and didn't go to his head. Otherwise just another mental case with talent (aka. R. Wallace, R Davis etc). NBA can always use a special talent, can do without the mental patients.

I love the way most people, bring the argument of Rule Vs. Law. Which is really an apples and oranges argument as if, you violate a rule you will break the law. Please build that bridge for me, show me the nexus. How one becomes the other. Yes without them, there will be chaos. I personally love sports wheter pop warner, high school, college ect... ESPN/Sports Illustrated/Sporting News/USA Today, reports on sports and I love sports, the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, and the simplistic shiznit of what kid is driving a H2.Comment

people need to stop acting like it's Labron vs The Man. I keep reading about how they give him this and then say he can't have this, take him here but say he can't go there. This makes absolutely no sense. His mother took the loan out on him to get the truck (many have a problem with this), the bank gave her the loan on his future earnings (many have a problem with this), basketball officials investigated the chance that it was a violation (very, very different people have a problem with this). This is the case for all of that stuff, it's not like the same people givin him the stuff is tryin to take it away.
And please stop with the arguments that the rules are the problem. If you want to discuss the rules, fine, but as for the actions the rules are there and breaking them will bring consequences no matter how you want to look at it. Jay walking is against the law, smoking weed is against the law, killing someone is against the law. My personal feeling is that only one of these is truly a crime but you can bet your *** that a law enforcer can punish me within his rights for doing any of the three.

No it is Labron Vs The hypocritical Man. They started an investigation into him because they "thought he was in violation" for getting things because of he future basketball fame and earnings. When "They Knew" that he had been recieving countless other items for himself as well as them without "Them"(The Hypcritical Man) saying anything before.
Way back when I played HS ball...I had to purchase my own sneakers, catch the bus to the school and then climb on a 15 passanger van to get to the game....If we won the game we would stop at Mickey D's for a burger, which came out my pocket.
Lebron wears custom sneaks "given" to him, Rides in a limo to the Jet that will take him to the game....Then probably dines on some fine food without a cent in his pocket....
Anyone who argues for OHSAA in anyway is just a plain "*****." And Makes no sense. You and they are like a Muslim with a pork sandwhich in ya hand speaking from the Koran....Don't try to claim righteousness half the time....
Side chatter...I'm begin to think that all this stuff going on with Lebron was orchestrated just to increase his visiablity. Before the hummer, I paid little attention to him(just not that interested in sports below the NBA level), Now I watching espn just waiting to see what they try next. Or what he gets next...LOL

Um, you quoted my entire post and still completely missed the point?summary: the people hyping James aren't the same as the people going after him, so saying "They" are hypocrites doesn't make sense...not even close to what you're talking about.
And Rules in any job are the Law for that job. I can not go to work without getting arrested but I'd be fired for breaking a simple rule. Don't see the difficulty here either.Comment

I guess this explains why I could not understand you previous post(point), because the part I put in bold is still baffling me and I have read it about 10 times now.Comment

Re: For all of those who like to stick up for Labron?
lol, you got me there.
should say I can instead of can not. bad analogy. the point is i don't see the problem with comparing rules to laws. i know the old saying, rules are meant to be broken, but it's the same principle. if you break a rule and get caught you have to suffer negative consequences whether most agree or disagree with the rule.Comment

Re: For all of those who like to stick up for Labron?
If you were breaking the rules with your boss for some time and then one day when you broke that same rule by yourself he wrote you up, you wouldn't think(call) your boss a hypocrite?
That is the same thing that is going on with Lebron...THe OSHAA was fine with him breaking rules as long as they were getting a cut(benefiting) from the infractions. But when Lebron when for self, they cried foul. They are hypocrites.

Re: For all of those who like to stick up for Labron?
After reading all of his diaries in SLAM magazine last year, I dont see anything cocky about LeBron. He's just a great player trying to get better, yet he's constantly being exploited by the media.Never surrender, it's all about the faith u got
Don't ever stop, just push it 'til u hit the top
And if you fall, at least u know u gave it your all
Be true to you, and that way u can never fall
