last year, Miami lost both regular season games against Dallas BIG, and after the first two games of the finals series and two substantial losses, their own fans were booing them. yet, the Heat proceeded to win 4 straight against a much better team than this current Warriors team is.

the Mavs started the regular season this year 0-4 and then won 15 straight games. If anyone can win 3 straight, its the Mavs (i dont think they will, but its possible. stranger things have certainly happened)

No excuse, the Heat were the better team that year.

They both had a break before the finals, this wasn't such a big deal when Dallas went up 2-0 was it?

You can blame it on whatever you want, but in the books it says they were the better team for that year.

Davis is the only really good player Golden State has the rest are role players. They just do not have enough good players to go far in the playoffs EVEN if they win this series. One game is enough to change the momentum of the series though and it is not over yet.

Oh, but I guess that doesn't apply to the Suns. You know, how you always bring up how Steve Nash and the Suns haven't done anything but get to the WCF for the past two years, and blame him for not taking the team to the Finals.

But it's okay, for the Mavericks to completely choke in the Finals, it's a viable excuse. Yep, real valid point you got there.

The Heat wouldn't have gotten by either the Suns or Spurs, and the Mavs did. If the better team always won then the Yankees would win the WS every year, but I don't see that happening.

And if the Mavericks do come back and win I'm sure the refs will be to blame, not the Warriors getting their *** kick.

Funny thing is Mavs fans weren't anywhere to be found in game 3 and 4. Go figure.

I know that basketball, and any other sport for that matter, is all about momentum. If Dallas wins by 20 tonight, then there is a very good chance that they could win two more games. If they only win by 5, it will be a hell of a game 6.

No you are getting it confused.

I am not saying the more TALENTED team wins, or the team with better PLAYERS.

I am saying the best TEAM wins a 7 game series ALWAYS.

Also, you have no proof that the Heat would have loss to the Spurs or Suns in a 7 game series.

There you go using the 'If' excuse.

OKay let me try "If the Lakers got Jkidd, we would go to the finals."

It makes no sense to try and back that up because no telling what happens IF Jkidd played with us for his remaining years.

                              win by 20?

                              wont happen.
