Hm yes I guess having Vince Carter in an unflattering caricature on the front page of one of the daily papers isn't warranted because "it's not a rivalry". KDRE I know it may not look like a rivalry for you here but the Toronto media and fans have a hatred of Vince Carter that no other former Toronto athlete has ever had.

There is definitely a rivalry between Bosh and Carter. It may not extend to them personally but the fans and media have a "the real franchise player vs. the guy who spurned us" attitude going on. So yes, there's a rivalry but it hasn't had a chance to flourish yet. I think the next few years will see the rivalry grow if VC stays in NJ. Heck, just look at the physical play you saw in the latter half of the 3rd quarter and throughout the 4th!

Wow I just notice that Utah is the away team, so even if you win your division and our playing a team that won more games they have home field advantage? Even if you are a higher seed too? I never knew that.

Can't understand the change in AK47...he used to fill the stat sheets. Now he hardly is involved on offense.

T-Mac ice cold so far...likely nerves. Expect him to explode in the second half.

AK was unhappy about his new role in having to take less shots in the offense, and its been downhill ever since.

He seems to get less involved in the D also.

I mean, for a while there not so long ago, he looked like a top ten player. He was putting up stats like 16 / 11 / 4 blocks / 3 assists each game.

Now, he's like 3 / 4 / 1 / 0.

They should trade him this off season...he'd still bring a nice return.

This game one is vital IMO...got a feeling whoever wins it will win the series.

That was last season, but they asked him to adjust to his new role this year, which is when he just went to the pits, but th owner said he wouldn't trade him.

I think they should trade and ween Paul Milsap while they bring in another impact player.

This series might go seven but the Rockets look like lost dogs and Tmac will be blamed because he hasn't done anything. These guys are supposed to be professionals and can't score a point in a half of basketball?
