Re: Little things from the past that you wish would come back.....
Hold on, you want to get rid of 3 teams that have been in the playoffs regularly over the last few years, a relatively new expansion franchise and a team that has finally regained credibility and won the Atlantic this past season yet you're willing to keep the Clippers in your imaginary world.
THE CLIPPERS!!!
The team that has been a joke for the last 35 years.
You lost all credibility with that one man.
As for me most of the things I miss have been said but I will agree about the artificial lengthening of the playoffs. My goodness, no wonder playoffs ratings have been sinking like a stone. How the hell are you supposed to have momentum when it's 3 or so days between games?!
1. Don't let the Canadian bias get you here. The Raptors franchise sucks. They got lucky due to the fact that the East flat out sucked this season.
2. The Clippers are a mainstay in the NBA. Not to mention, they are a rising franchise over the last few seasons.Twitter

Yes a team that has had attendence in the top 15-20 in the league since their inception (and remember there's been some hard times) is a sucky franchise. Yep yep....I think it's more like don't let your American bias get to you.
I bet you're also one of those people that thought the NBA in Vancouver was bad too when the fans went out there every night to watch their team but ownership was never really committed to the city.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

their record over the last 5 years is pretty crappy. Of their 4 playoff appearances..only once did they win a series and even that year they failed to win a 2nd series.
and the attendance thing...in a year in which TOR wins their division..they rank 17th in the NBA % wise. Yeah...spectacular support.Twitter

Re: Little things from the past that you wish would come back.....
I predict the Raptors will be in the top 10 in attendance next year as Toronto loves a winner.
Oh and here's the Clippers records in the last 5 seasons:
27-55
28-54
37-45
47-35
40-42
The last two years look good on paper but it seems to me that '05-'06 was a fluke and they'll be back to being the same old Clips before you know it. As for the Raptors they're being built the right way and will continue to improve in the next few years.
Oh and the Clippers are a mainstay? Yeah, I guess leaving Buffalo and San Diego shows they're a real stable franchise over the years.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Before the last few years the Hornets were always contenders, I don't see why you're acting like they haven't done anything when in their short history they're already better than the Clippers.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
