If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -
Re: Apparently no one likes Bruce Bowen...
He must be the most accident prone guy in the league then. Face it, the guy is not a saint and he has brought this reputation onto himself. Defending him for kicking people in the face and kneeing people in the nuts is like Amare trying to say that he was just trying to check in after Horry fouled Nash.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. I guess Amare's just clumsy.Comment

Re: Apparently no one likes Bruce Bowen...
Bowen definitely is notorious for his "accidents," but outside of that, you cannot dispute him being the best perimeter defender in the L.Comment

Re: Apparently no one likes Bruce Bowen...
For the first time since Bruce Bowen became a regular starter in the NBA, he attempted less than 1 Freethrow per game (73 attempts in 82 games)...
it only shows that we just camp him in the corners pretty much all game long, even more-so than before...
just thought it was interesting. I'm going to see if I can find more players like that.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

Re: Apparently no one likes Bruce Bowen...
For Wally to initiate the contact, he will have to come under Bowen. If Bowen maintain the mid-air action of trying to block, his entire body would landed on Wally creating the contact Wally wanted, a foul in the act of shooting. Bowen realized this mid-air and tried to avoid it by raising his legs to avoid the contact Wally wanted by trying to jump over Wally. It just so happen that the time Bowen raised his legs is also the same time Wally move forward towards him. You can see it. Wally moved forward towards Bowen's foot. Wally was not expecting Bowen to raised his legs to try and avoid the cotact. It all happen in seconds. If the film is played normally, I would have not noticed Wally move forward. It would seem as if Bowen did kick him intentionally. But the slow motion reveal information not easily noticed if the video is played at a normal speed.Comment

June 28 marks 4 years to the day since I signed up at OS, and the suggestion that Wally Szczerbiak somehow ran into Bruce Bowen's foot might be the most ridiculous thing I have read in those four years.Comment

Re: Apparently no one likes Bruce Bowen...
nah... it would have to be all the blind hate at this guy, like their own team's players haven't done something of the same sort before. Especially Suns fans and their disregard for Raja Bell's antics.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment
