Re: Why I believe KG is MVP

Hey Will. You are perhaps the only T'Wolves fan on this site, so it would to ask you this.

Troy Hudson has been playing pretty well for the T'Wolves at the PG spot. Plus he's a young guy too, so he could be a fixture there if the team really wants to keep him. So my question is... what's the deal with Terrell Brandon? Has any info come up as far as what the T'Wolves are gonna do with Brandon when he gets healthy?

And I really believe KG should've gotten much more consideration for MVP last season. It's a shame that the guy is getting shafted just for not being able to carry his team past much more talented playoff teams.

If the season ended today, Kevin Garnett would be MVP. Other players in the running, in my opinion, are- McGrady, Bryant, Shaq, Duncan, Nowitzki

Thats true, TMac does do all that, but his team is just fighting for a playoff spot. I think that the Magic have a more talented team than the TWolves without their 2 respective stars, but the TWolves are in the midst of a playoff berth in the super tough west.

Kruza, Terrell has been chronically hurt for the past few seasons, as you probably know. Most likely, he's gonna retire after this year, and if he's deemed unable to play basketball because of injuries, whichever team he's on will not only lose his salary, but get about $8 mil in compensation. There's talks of Terrell being traded before the deadline to a team looking to take the chance on cashing in if Terrell retires and is physically unable to play. If there's no takers, he'll retire with the Wolves, and maybe they'll cash in. We'll see.

Re: Why I believe KG is MVP

For anyone who bashed Big Ben and said "so he get's rebounds" or Hamilton is more important, let me tell ya something.

Without Big Ben for a long period of time, this team is in trouble, serious trouble, we're a .500 team without him and with him we're a top 5 team in the league, though we aren't recognized as one.

Ben does things the stat sheet doesn't keep track of that are so important, and he has the heart, and more of it than any player in the league currently, he works harder than any player and even though he can't score, so many others can....

How many guys in the league average over 17ppg?
How many guys average over 10 rpg?
How many guys in the league average over 11rpg, 2.5 bpg and 1.2 spg?

Ben Wallace is so dominant it is scary, I watch every game and the person who made the Rip comment probably has watched maybe 1 of the 2 pistons games that were broadcasted nationally, and those don't count for much.

Ben Wallace is the MVP and though he will not recieve it cause the league cares so much about points, when defense is what is more important to a good extent, look at the rookie game, no defense, Defense is needed and has to be played, offense will always be played.

Ben doesn't need to score either, Rip, Chauncey, Cliff, Corliss, our new rookie Okur have been fabulous on offense as of late, not to mention the rest of our VERY DEEP BENCH. This team is something special, and I'll say Garnett is another guy who is definitely an MVP, and I won't take a thing away with him, but Ben Wallace is my MVP.

I dont take anything away from Big Ben. He is as solid as it comes on defense. He does have a huge heart and works harder than 99% of the players out there. It's just that the L does look at points and other things like that which he doesn't put up. It's sad, but true. He's a sure thing for Defensive Player of the Year again though. That's something to be proud of.
