Re: Ideal game tomorrow: Seattle vs. Milwaukee
Milbucksfan-I would change your big 3 to Payton, Mason, Redd you'll see why very soon.
WallyHopp- I can tell your not from around this area. If paytons plays tommorow, they will cheer him like no one has ever seen. Right now virtually every Sonics fan wants to kill Wally Walker or whoever made this trade come to pass. If Payton is annouced or plays he will see the biggest ovation of any player in the NBA this year, just wait.
Bucks fan's what are take on this trade? My biggest concern is what I've heard of Ray Allen's defense and health. Mason will be spectuclar at times, not to mention he is the best "person" in the NBA. I know a more then a few people around here that will miss him because of what he has done in the community. I think it's a good trade for the Sonics if 2 things happen. Allen is healthy, and we get Milwaukee's first round pick. If either of those things don't happen I will be VERY pissed off becuase of how the Sonics got hosed on Feburary 20, 2003.
So whats the deal with Allen? why did he get traded? In your opinion what are his biggest weakness, etc?Comment

Ray Allen's defense isn't very good, i dont think its from an effort standpoint...its just not very good, but the reason we traded ray allen is because we have a guy behind him who is identical to ray allen....pretty shot, rains 3's all day, has only 'ok' defense and is a team player. That player is Michael ReddComment

as far as why he got traded, if ur the bucks and look at the deal it looks pretty good and should make you team better and thats what the bucks wanted to do. im not really sure about his relationship with george karl but ray was a fan favorite because of both on and off the court with being a good player and helping out in the community as well. he is such a socring threat but he cant play any d whatsoever. expect some average guards to put up numbers on u guys cuz of this. another weakness he has is he's a soft player. he doesn't take it to the rack very often, and when he does go inside he settles for little 2ft jumpers. but as far as scoring and shooting goes, u will be very pleased.and also if u wanted to know about kevin ollie, he's played pretty solid this season coming off the bench. he led the nba in assist to turnover ratio, he had a streak of about 9 games or soething with no turnovers. he plays very good defense too. hes not a scorer by any means but lately he was better at hittin his 18 ft jumper.Comment

Nope, the biggest ovations have been for MJ, all year long, in every arena. This, being his last year.Comment
