funny...that`s EXACTLY what Kobe thinks it`s all about....SCORING TITLE. i find it HARD to believe that T-Mac is chasing the scoring title. i find it even harder to believe that he gives a f ck what Kobe is doing in L.A.
McGrady does it with ease...he does it within the flow of the game. That`s how you ACCUMULATE not PAD stats geniuses. McGrady is in the mold of Magic Johnson just playing in a different era.

I love how Kobe has some of his best games against the Denver Nuggets.

    good luck in the playoffs.

Let's see if Kobe gets 50 tonight - I'm sure he feels threatened by McGrady.

There's no question McGrady has stepped up his game at least partly due to Kobe becoming very close to moving him into the 2nd spot for highest PPG a few days ago.

Kobe's play has given other players will, motivation and confidence and I think that's why all around the NBA a lot of guys have really stepped up their play.

But u forgot one thing, Kobe is doing this with a very bad leg. So people should give Kobe all the props for what he does. Another thing is that I am getting tired of all this talk about Kobe taking too many shots because he has no one really to pass to besides Shaq.

T-Mac and Kobe both have tendinitis in their legs - leading to sore knees.

T-Mac also has a bad back

That was just wrong of T-Mac. It's hard to find a guy who scores 46, and in the process rack up 13 assists. This has to be the best performance of the season so far.

But on another topic, some of you Kobe haters need to lighten up. I'm a Magic fan, and I hate the Lakers, but I strongly believe that Kobe is the best player in the NBA, slightly better than T-Mac. I think he's past that selfish phase he went through in his first few years, and has turned into a real team player. He takes the majority of the shots because he has to. Just look at the Lakers roster, they only have about three players, other than Shaq and Kobe, that any other team would want in George, Horry, and Rush.

What about all of Kobe's triple doubles he was putinng up earlier in the season. But i still give T-Mac all of the credit for having such a great game.

Yeah this Kobe/TMac battle reminds me of the Penny/Hill rivalry that was going down except for Kobe and TMac are a bit better.
