It's really interesting that y'all would rather take the time and effort to type a post, manipulate images, think up responses and waste energy ripping a player you claim you don't care for rather than spending that energy and brain-power typing posts, manipulating images,and thinking up responses to shout out YOUR favorite player.

Here's an idea. Someone start a post about C. Child's washed-up ***!

Props to KDRE and others who at least try to make posts about the players they admire. There's a Nick the quick post, KG posts, mad MJ posts and the list goes on. Come on, make a post devoted to your favorite underrated player.(Then again it would get 2 replies and fade into obscurity, so scratch that idea.)

Now that I think about it though, I guess KOBEHATE is as inevitable as death and taxes so Kobe fans should be above the negativity and just enjoy watching him piss on the league but sometimes the hipocracy is what kills me.

Example:
"Kobe is just trying to be Mike..." This is the dumbest sh!t i've ever heard of.

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US WHO HAS EVER SHOT HOOPS IN HIS BACKYARD / EMPTY GYM HAS DREAMED OF BEING MIKE. THEY MADE A FRIGGIN' SONG ABOUT IT!!!!!

You remember counting down.......3...............2.................1.... .turn... headfake.......fadeaway at the buzzer........IT's GOOD!!!!

Get the rebound do it again, and again and again.

We have all wished we could win the game late, or shutdown the other teams scorer, or dunk on a center to silence the crowd.
The only problem is that NOT ONE OF US HAS THE ABILITY TO DO THESE THINGS AT THE NBA LEVEL. TO TREAT THE LEAGUE LIKE HIS PERSONAL PLAYGROUND.

I guess the dislike is from Kobe's lack of a defining personality. Too many times he's taken the Mike fantasy too far and tried to replicate the "too tired too carry on, slump" and the "hot from 3 range gimmick". I wasn't feelin' that either but the kid is only 24. Most of us would also have a hard time establishing a marketable personality. Just being a low-key brotha' from around the way won't cut it nowadays. you gotta have some type of "spark". AI's got the thugged-out thing down. Duncans got the fundamental, good guy thing on lock. MJ had charisma spillin outta' his ***. T-Mac and Kobe don't have that gift. Kobe is trying to do the "feirce competitor, clean-cut" thing that was Mikes legacy but gets ripped to shreds for doing it. Mike was just as arrogant IMO.

Let Kobe grow. he'll establish his own ID.

And then, they will love him......
