Here's an excerpt from Charles Rosen( an idiot IMO) in an article on espn's page 2 as he shares the blame about the laker problems. Although, I like Kobe, this was quite funny.

Phil Jackson -- for being a little too laissez faire this time around. (Here's the latest joke going around the NBA: Jackson named his kidney stone "Kobe" because it wouldn't pass.)

Anyone read the March 3rd Sports Illustrated article about Kobe by Rick Reilly yet? It's on the last page and a pretty good read. I won't tell you what it's about cause I don't want to start a big hoo-haa in this thread. But go check it out...

I just read it. He brings up good points and addresses the so called "haters." I'm sure it will start another debate between fanboys and haters. Please don't.

What I wanna see is Kobe in the playoffs.

I want to see how well he performs and also what happens to the Lakers if he underperforms (although I doubt he will). I also want to see if there will be any rifts in the Lakers when they play in the playoffs.

                          Re: All Kobe Talk.....

                          Basically the article said this:
"No one thought anyone would break Babe Ruth's records-then came along Hank Aaron." I forget the rest, but then he said Kobe COULD be better than MJ one day. Basically he is saying what me and Skillz were saying awhile back.

This thread totally dies when the Lakers aren't playing. I guess that makes sense tho. They play tonight against the Pacers. Let's see how Kobe does against Ron Artest. Remember, Artest wasn't there the last time these 2 teams faced each other. Should be a good game.
