True but after last year's performance and what they did to them during this season, I'm sure SAC Kings are confident that they can beat the Lakers.

I didn't watch NBA much this year so bare with me but I didn't know the Lakers split the series, but I do remember Kings beating Lakers in the beggining in their own home by a big point margin.Shaq might have been injured but it was a win nonetheless. Wasn't that the Christmas game or something?Now, for one the Lakers won't be playing at home so that should give the Kings some more confidence in beating them. They would be doing it at home and in front of their own home crowd and fans. Also, last year's playoffs was a disaster. In the Kings' minds they won and beat the Lakers last year. The refs and some lucky shots from the Lakers took it away all away from the Kings.

All that and it came to a one last possesion..still everyone knows the refs blew it for the Kings. I wouldn't be able to keep my cool and concentrate on the game when I know the refs are screwing me and my teammates. Anyways I'm hoping they can beat them this year, but I don't care for both teams... I don't wanna watch the NBA no more this year

Then please dont, no sense and watching, when you can use your sleuth skills and break into the nba office and find out who they want to win. Why come here after every "fixed" game and complain, when you can be using your "special" talents for discovering who the nba champs will be according to stern, the nba ref association etc.

If no one cared about the Lakers, or there were minimal responses to Laker threads, I think I'd be upset. But once again, the Laker-bashers do us Laker fans proud by showing us how truly great the team is by once again establishing that the 3 time champs are the only intriguing story in the NBA.

Plus, anyone who doesn't know that Shaq gets his arms hacked and slapped to death every time he touches the ball is out of touch with reality.

I grew up hating the celtics for the same reasons. Ainge was always cryin' and pouting even though the Celts got a majority of the calls back then, so I understand the group-therapy aproach to Laker hating. I know its frustrating to watch a team you hate always find a way to come back and win. I mean 3 titles for THOSE bums? Sheesh. Must be a conspiracy.

Of course the refs give the champs all the calls! Did any of ya'll just start watching basketball? The best players and teams will ALWAYS get the benefit of the doubt. Why would you wish injury on anybody, I don't like the Lakers but I don't want Shaq and Kobe. Beating a team that is fully loaded is better than hearing all the excuses about this person was hurt.
