I don't get all this talk about Kobe would get more points if shaq wasn't there. He takes almost 24 shots a night, how many more shots would he get if the team was built around him (Shaq's averaging about 18)? For christ's sake, he's had several nights when he's taken about 40 shots. The only way his shot attempts increase, is if he's on a totally hopeless team. On a decent team, his shots stay about the same. I think his shot percentage might go down since he would be the focal point of opposing team's defense.

People talk about Kobe as if being shaq's teammate is holding him back. How many more points a game did Penny get when he and shaq parted ways? How about Scottie when he and MJ parted ways? Shaq and Kobe both get their share of shots, its the other guys who would get more shots if they didn't have two dominant offensive players on thier team.

Good point. Since Kobe gets he shot attempts, the only way for him to score more would be to shoot a higher perecentage.

I have that poster 49er in my room.

He's made literally 1000 GW shots in his career (Exaggeration) lol, so his % is like 99.8 %.

Sorry, I should have stated that instead of 100.

i know you're exaggerating, but i hope you realize that his percentage is probably somewhere around 50% at BEST.

yeah I was and to even the playing field, the exaggerating for Kobes 50/50 was sarcastic as well. He's more like 25/75

MJ has made 34 game winning shots in his career.
                            the link for that: http://www.23jordan.com/shots1.htm

that commercial was made in 99-00. Since then he missed 2 game winners against the hawks. So i can count at least 28, im not sure if theres more. so hes at little better than 50/50
