Re: Who Has Surprised in Pre-Season
Al Thornton has been tearing up the preseason thus far from what I've read.Originally posted by EWRMETSMaybe the best post in OS's history. If you don't think Tony Romo is a Hall of Famer, you support al Qaeda.Comment

He's gonna be a candidate for ROY, especially with Elton Brand out in LAC.Comment

Re: Who Has Surprised in Pre-Season
Not anything big but the Celtics loss to the Knicks. I know it's preseason but that has me excited to see what it looks like during the season for both teams. I know the Knicks have boosted their team a bit. Definitely interested in seeing those two teams go at it again. On another note, Nate Robinson grabbed the same amount of rebounds as Curry & Randolph.......Comment

I'm hardly an A.I. lover, but I can't grasp how any Philly fan could be so bitter towards him.Comment

LOL no, seriously, I haven't taken a shot at AI in this thread. To say he can't shoot isn't a cheap shot at him. It's the truth.Comment

Re: Who Has Surprised in Pre-Season
I'm not going to agree on that, because you said he can't shoot. If you said he was more of a scorer then a shooter, than I'd agree, but you said that you could shoot better than Iverson who has averaged the most points at his size(6ft, 160) ever in the history of the league. I realize this was facetious hyperbole, but it goes too far when you back it up after scrutiny. Someone challenged your point, and you repeated it: "Iverson can't shoot."
That statement is incorrect, because it is not an option as a defender to just back off of Iverson. That would be bad scouting. That is a scouting report for Rajon Rondo, or TJ Ford, not the former 4 time scoring champion.Comment
