There are a couple stars that didn't get mentioned, I consider them tweeners.

Gotta get out of the 1st round. He's still a step below Kobe, LeBron, and Duncan.

T-mac isn't close to being the best player in the league, and never has been.

Tracy is my 2nd favorite player in the league right now and top 5 of all time but even at that no he would not be the best player in the league right now because Kobe is and always was better than him in every single way and thats not a shot at T-Mac thats just how good Kobe is.

McGrady at one point in Orlando was top 5 like the other poster said but if you can't get and don't win in the postseason you cannot be honored like that.

Offensively he is flat out amazing. His passing is far better than most of the big name wing players.

His defense has fell off the last few years.

His first few years in Toronto he was a defensive stopper....now he is barely noticeable on the defensive end. Plus everyone knows Dirk struggles against smaller quicker defenders.

Far better passing? Really? Let's name some other big name SG/SFs and see if he's a far better passer...

                      Player -- Assists
                      Dwayne Wade -- 7.5
                      Kobe Bryant -- 5.4
                      Lebron James -- 6.0
                      Vince Carter -- 4.8
                      Allen Iverson -- 7.2
                      Andre Iguodala -- 5.7
                      Ray Allen -- 4.1

He's a far better passer than Ray Allen. Everyone else and you're talking about 1-1.5 more assists or less. Come on, man. Stop exaggerating.
