I'm going on record as saying I hate this trade. The Cavs still didn't get a point guard (West is a combo guard) and took on two very bad contracts (Wally and Wallace). I was very disappointed in Hughes and thought Gooden was way too inconsistent, but I'd rather have the team before this trade then after. I just hope LeBron likes it...

When he gets back he'll start...but Wally will get the major minutes. It all depends on how Wally plays Defense anyway.

I've never in my life have seen Delonte West play so I have no idea what to expect. I'm having hope that Ben Wallace is more of a natural 4 than he is a 5. He and Z are a pretty good defensive low post. Joe Smith is an expiring contract and a big with a good jumper.
I actuallyl really like this deal now that it doesn't include Duhon and we got West instead.

Hughes and Wallace change places so you only took on one bad contract.

Did you think they were going to win in the playoffs with that team? West is a better point than Hughes or Gibson. Wally gives you some shooting even though his contract is horrible. He only has this year and next under contract anyway. LBJ needed help.

That's a BIG squad. Especially in the East. Potentially no starters under 6'5". Isn't that what West is?

EDIT: Nevermind, West is 6'3". Not as big as I thought, but still pretty big with Wallace and Iggy.

From what i've heard, I really like at what West will bring to the table which is decent shooting and great D.

Right now i'm stoked by this trade. I have a feeling Ben Wallace is going to reignite his career here. Playing the 4 next to Z is going to REALLY help him.

Yea he's more like 6'4 tho and btw I have no ideal what the Bulls are doing tho.
