I don't like this move for New Orleans. They have a really, really tight group there right now...team unity is their strength.

But who knows what he'll do? He's the type of guy who may just sulk, get fat and not even contribute for them.

He sulked about his contract in Sac...then the entire league ignored him...he got a token offer from Houston...fell out with the coach...came back because Rick Adelman is supposedly someone who likes him...and even Adelman traded him!

On another note, what happened to Morris Peterson? I thought he was playing for NOH. He's not doing his job or something? Doesn't he play the 2? Is he injured or was that just a waste of money basically? Some of these trades the past 5+ years have just boggled the mind. I'm kind of glad that my Bulls haven't made a big trade yet. A dummy seems to be made each minute of the day, huh??

Peterson plays the 3 more than the two and I don't really know what would be wrong in that situation, as he played fine in Toronto the entire time he was here...

Nothing that I know of they just have the worst bench in the league and this trade makes it better(as I'm sure thats what their thinking too). imo

Hasn't made it through the league office yet but it looks like the trade was Bonzi and James for Bobby Jackson, a possible pick, and 6 or so mill in cap space. NO just got deeper. Funny though, the Rox are red hot but this move points to rebuilding...

With the exception of 82-year old Dikembe Mutombo, Bobby Jackson has more solid playoff experience than anybody on our squad..........

That about sums up the positive spin I have at the moment......... hopefully sometime tomorrow, Ron-Ron will be a Rocket.............

Unless they're finally ready to unload Aaron Brooks for Artest, this makes no sense.

Bobby's contract is shorter and smaller than James' but wow, Bonzi too?

This just has the be the reason they did this. It is the only logical explanation, Bonzi was balling as of late.

If they are planning to get Artest in a deal with Aaron (Who the Kings seem to be really interested in) than it makes sense seeing that Artest is 5X better than Bonzi. If they acquire Artest than it makes them a MUCH better team figuring that they can keep him in control (and honestly he hasn't been doing anything as of late instead of playing ball) I think they should make another move, otherwise this was a bad move for them.

Good move for the Hornets though.
