I totally agree. It really is a shame and teams aren't rewarded for winning in one conference.

They need to reinstitute the top 16 teams make it like it was in the 90's.

          ?

There have always been 8 East and 8 West, even when their were only 4 divisions, bro.

Either way top 16 doesn't seem undoable to me.

Maybe that thread about the top 16 playoffs wasn't such a crazy idea.

Screw the travel, that's not a legit con in my mind. You want to have the best basketball teams in the world playing at the end of the season right? Why reward crap teams?

The problem comes in with the division crap.

Since the top 8 teams are only 4.5 games apart it could be anybody. As much as it pains me to say this, I think the Rockets and Nuggets make it in. While Golden St. turns a runs it self right out of the playoffs.

losing Biedrens will probably hurt the Warriors more than people think. I hope they make the playoffs though...and I think they will. Webber will get more time now that Biendrens is out.

Hopefully, Dallas will get a shot at some pay back.

As much of a fan I am of the Nugs I feel that they are not going to make the playoffs this year. They really missed out on the trade dead line and have not upgraded their team at all.

                        The Nuggets play NO D.

                        None.

                        I agree...I think they'll miss out.

AI and Melo = a bit of a dissapointment.

Yeah, that's my fear. It's nice that they're playing great and all, but now Scola and Landry can't sneak up on people in the playoffs.

No D whatsoever. As for Melo and A.I. I don't think they are the disappointment as much as Karl. They are way to lenient with the "Green Light" on that ball club. I didn't want Karl when thay hired him in the first place cause I was a huge Kemp fan and watched him lose in the playoffs with a stacked team at the Sonics.

He seriously needs to hire a defensive assistant coach like Doc Rivers did. Those guys just stand there and let the opponent shoot like its a pick up game.

Ppl in Denver have been calling for Karl's head for some time.
