Totally agree Battier has TOP notch D and a pretty damn TOP notch SET shot. However, that's all he brings to the game unfortunately. With Yao their it would've definitely been a different game cause he would've killed their big men like he did earlier in the season.

Chuck Hayes is not a PF. He is not a SF. I don't know what he is LOL. He's like the ******** kid u leave open in a 3 on 3 game, then you just double the best player. Scola is undersized, Mutumbo can only play for so long the Rockets are just to damn small to compete wit the big dogs Literally. I don't know how they're gonna defend against Shaq and Amare but they better come up with a REAL good game plan. Because the teams they gonna face in the coming week can easily knock them right back to the bottom.

And Rudy gay definitely has the body (long arms and wing span) to lock down defenders. Kobe started out flashy n wanted to do highlights every game now he's an excellent defender. Rudy Gay could've been their experiment a year with Jeff Van Gundy would've definitely helped his defensive game out, because he has his offense just about figured out.

Yeah, he might not have won the game for them but he would have kept the Celtics a little more honest by hammering some dunks down on their frontcourt. However, rumors coming out of Houston now are that Landry's knee is worse than previously thought and he might be done for at least a few weeks, if not the whole season. Not that that would be too surprising, considering how an expected two-games rest has turned into an indefinite absence. To be honest, I'm very skeptical about the Rockets' medical staff - seems like they've been an injury-plagued franchise going back to the Hakeem era and I don't think it's just the players' misfortune.

Yea their medical staff seems to OK everything. Then when the player obviously looks hurt then all of the sudden he's possibly gone for the season or a huge amount of games

Scary part is, their head guy Keith Jones is Team USA's medical trainer.

What KG did was stupid though, he did that during garbage time. Than he goes down and dunks again, I'm sorry if I'm a scrub player i'm giving him a hard foul for that ish.
You have no idea how many times I've seen that happen. It wasn't stupid. He just put the exclamation point on it.

Was there really a need to it? The Rockets don't have dirty players, but you don't give dirty players motivation.

I just didn't see a need for KG to dunk it on the Rockets bench with about 1 minute left.

If thats the case then, why was he even out there with a minute left?

The dunk really wasn't a big problem for me personally. I found myself smiling, like "Damn. Exclamation point." I mean, he was free under the rim, with an easy opportunity. It wouldn't expect him to be like,

"You know, I could dunk this ball...But, that would be rude. I think I'll just lay this ball up from point blank range. Look how nice a guy I am."

But, I was wondering why he was in the game that long. T-Mac was out with about 7 minutes left to play.

Yeah I noticed Doc likes to play Pierce and KG even when the C's are up by 25 in the 3rd. (Not talking about the Rockets game)

T-MAC *** shouldnt been out the game with 7 mins left in the 1st place. He only took 11 shots, so he couldn't have been tired seems like they kinda gave up like "f**k it we won 22 straight"
