Cities That Dont have a NBA Team, but Should

What cities that dont have a NBA, but you think they should have one?

For me I think Oklahoma City should have one, because after seeing how much they supported the Hornets even when its not their own team and helping through hard times during when Hurricane Katrina was going on. I thought that was really cool ans special of them.

    What do you guys think?

I think Kansas City should, the Sprint Center is really nice, and they have a pretty large population of basketball fans.

Yeah, it's basically a done deal.

Oklahoma City won't be able to support a team for a long. They're tiny. The only reason they showed up for the Hornets was because it was a limited time thing and a novelty. Let's see 5-10 years from now if they still care. Keep in mind this is the 45th media market we are talking about. Sonics should not leave Seattle(14th media market).

As for cities that should have a team, St. Louis should have a team. They are the 21st media market and have no team near them. They'd likely pick up Kansas City as supporters too.

Media markets aren't nearly as important as you make them out to be. Seattle's attendance sucks and they aren't getting a new arena.

If media markets were the only thing that mattered, LA would have a football team, Tampa would have a basketball team, and Charlotte (and DC up until a few years ago) would have a baseball team.
