This one cost us the game. In the 4th, tie ball game, with .5 seconds left, an inbounds play that gets T.J. Ford an alley oop opportunity is converted for the win. Except that the clock is started before the ball was actually inbounded. The announcers noticed it too.

If this is protested, which it will, we better get a re-do. This is a joke.

Technically we should get the win, a redo wouldn't be much different from the overtime, we downright deserve the win for that.

I saw the replay about 20 times, I must not have been paying attention to when the clock started just when he released it. He definitely did release it after time expired.

Saw it again and the clock definitely starts a little early. It's already at .4 when he catches it, not .3 though

Bull****. That was garbage. Atlanta really needs to check into their scorekeeping staff. Thats twice they've ****ed over the Raptors. The ball was slightly on his fingetips, than .1 would've easily secured the win.

raptors were not the only team screwed today.
so were the wizards. with 1 second left in the game andrew bogut caught the ball in mid air, landed, then passed it out.
The thing is the clock didnt start until the ball left boguts hands.

the ball had to be atleast half a second in boguts hands, no way the ball travels 8 feet and the bucks player gets the ball and shoots a clean normal jump shot and not some kind of prayer in half a second.

wizards and raptors were both robbed tonight.

So, this is at least the third issue like this in the past year or so in Atlanta. Twice screwing the Raptors.

If Toronto wins their protest, what do they get? A replay of the last .5 seconds does no good, what are the chances of Toronto getting another shot like that again? And replaying OT doesn't make much sense, as it wasn't the OT that was the issue. They need to just give Toronto the win.

The NBA can go **** themselves. Their saying that Horford tipped the ball that was passed.

That is complete bull****. How is the ball able to perfectly land in Ford's hands.

The NBA just wants any excuse to rid themselves of this embarrassement.

They should realize that things like this happening, undermines the integrity of the league and people start to wonder whether there are more refs like Tim D. Absolutely pathetic.

I saw a different angle of it and the ball does change path/spin a little, but it's slight. I think Horford nipped it with his left thumb, but I doubt the refs actually noticed that when they started the clock.

No way. I've seen every still picture every video there is. If that ball is tipped there is no way it reaches T.J. Ford, I don't care how slight the nip might be.

The NBA just wants to save face. Pathetic excuse of a league.

I don't see how the "Horford tipped the ball" argument can fly anyway. If Horford did tip it, which it doesn't appear to me that he did, then the time would have expired way before the ball reached Ford.
