If you want to go that route, Pau Gasol is closer to a superstar than Ilgauskas. Lamar Odom is closer to amazing than anybody on the Cavaliers' bench.

I hate to bring up the classic Kobe vs LBJ debate in here, but if you think the Lakers wouldn't still have 60 wins if Kobe and LBJ traded places, you're foolish. Anyone who doesn't see the great things Lebron is doing with NOBODY on his team is drinking the haterade. If Lebron had ANY kind of supporting cast, he would of been a world champion last year. And if LBJ had the team that Kobe has now, he's average 28/7/12.
all if's and maybe's..... no way to prove any of that crap, so it's useless.....

Huh? The Lakers were 28-16 before the Gasol trade. Thats not .500 ball. If you mean he saved us because of the Bynum injury then OK but the Lakers were a good team before the Gasol trade.

Pretty much because they were playing about .500 ball when Bynum went down.

true, but they got Gasol like 6 or so games (forgot exact number) after Bynum went down so the sample size isn't too large..... I agree though that the Gasol trade stopped the Lakers from dropping to the bottom 4 of the playoff field...... but who wouldn't suffer from such a huge loss?? Take West away from the Hornets and they are a lottery team.....
