Re: NBA Sunday Games: 4/13/2008
Rockets need to win, win, win.
Lock up the top seed to take on The Nuggets in the first round. I do not want a match up with the Suns AT ALL.
I'm not sure if I'd rather have the Mavs or Jazz in the first round. But either one would be better than the Suns.
So I'm hoping the Lakers lose their last game...
...Man, I don't remember anytime where the season has been this exciting to the VERY end, the very LAST game.Comment

If the Rockets lose tonight, what are their prospects for the third seed?Comment

Re: NBA Sunday Games: 4/13/2008
Basically if they lose tonight, they move back to the fifth seed. Both the Spurs and Rockets have two games left after tonight. To finish with the third seed (which I'm sure is what you want) they basically would have to have win more games than the Spurs in the final two games:
If the Spurs win both games, the Rockets cannot be seeded 3rd. Period.
If the Spurs go 1-1, the Rockets need to go 2-0.
If the Spurs lose their remaining games, then the Rockets just need one game.
Now of coarse this is assuming that the Lakers and Hornets win the rest of their games. Their are so many possible scenarios if we include wins and losses from the other teams in the west, it's mind boggling...lol
Not a single seed has been locked up...lol...
All we can say for certain is that the Mavs will be the 7th or 8th seed.Last edited by TMagic; 04-13-2008, 09:24 PM.Comment

Things have worked out so well the last few days for the Lakers. They beat the Hornets and Spurs, the Hornets lose @ Sacramento, and Houston loses @ Denver.
The Lakers control their own destiny now. Reminds me of 2004 for some reason when we pulled that division title out of our ***.I write things on the Internet.

In a way, I'm kind of glad that we loss. Now we're 5th seeded and will probably meet the Jazz. Hopefully they can hold on to homecourt advantage.Comment
