    Bulls - Heat talk Wade?

Dwyane Wade says he keeps hearing his name mentioned in trade rumors involving the Bulls and Miami Heat.

Would the Bulls give up the No. 1 draft position to the Heat in exchange for Wade and the No. 2 overall selection? Or some combination of other players and picks?

"I have heard my name being talked about, and I can't worry about it," Wade said Monday at the Attack Athletics training facility on the West Side. "There is one thing in this league that you have no control over. If another organization wants you, then you should feel good to be wanted."
I think the better question is would the Heat give up Wade to have #1 and #2 in the draft?

Yeah, the proposal named in the article would be awful.

Wade and the #2 for the #1 and players? WTF? Unless the players include Gordon, Deng, and Hinrich, that's the worst trade proposal I've heard since Shawn Marion and his contract for Shaq.

I guess I could see a #1 for Wade working out if Chicago doesn't resign or trades Gordon or something, but I still don't think that puts them in a much better place. They still have no front court, and I'd take Rose and a rookie contract over Wade and his contract/ability to leave. I'm not positive on Gordon and Wade's contracts, but I think I've got the basics down.

But the trade in the article is a joke. Rose for Wade and Beasley? No.

The conversation probably went something like this
Pax: Boy it sure would be great to have wade...
Riley: Yeah it is great thanks for calling, enjoy Rose.

In all seriousness barring Riley completely losing his mind he would probably rather lose a hand than lose Wade. The city of Miami and all the Heat fans would go nuts if Wade was shipped away at this point (unless its a VC situation where you have absolutely no choice)
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

The Heat should spend less time trying to trade Wade, and more time trying to surround him with people not named Chris Quinn.

To me, this would be illogical for both teams.

It's not illogical for Chicago, depending on what they get, because Wade could turn them into a superpower. When healthy, he's the second best shooting guard in the league, and a top player overall. With his ability to create his shot and score in the fourth quarter, Chicago could do some damage when you look at the rest of their roster. I can't figure out why Miami would get rid of him. I don't see anything in Chicago that Miami would want.

I don't think anybody has a problem with Chicago's end of the deal. It's Miami that would be illogical for this type of trade.

D-Wade is from go Ill, and would be a huge ticket seller.

Not to mention he is crazy talented and already led a team to a championship.

I don't know how it'd be bad/illogical for Chicago to drop one spot in the draft and get an elite superstar shooting guard.

It wouldn't be illogical at all for Chicago to do this deal, it would be insanely stupid for Miami to do it.

The only reason I see this happening if Wade was dissatisfied but that doesn't look the case.

If it was to go down, something like this would be the best for the Heat.

                        1st Pick
                        Ben Gordon
                        Andreas Nocioni

                        for Wade.

Ummm, no. I'd rather not take on Dwayne "Penny" Wade and lose a talent like Rose or Beasley.

                          Just personal opinion.

Much rather have a young player with great upside that doesn't yet have a history of injury concerns. It would be much easier to just draft Rose (which I'm assuming is happening; it really isn't a reflection of who I THINK we should take) and deal Hinrich and Gordon in a deal for a relatively young, low-post scorer. Maybe we could even entice Brand to opt out of his contract and sign with us this year? Yeah, I understand that's wishfull thinking and will probably not happen, considering Reinsdorf signed off on Brand getting shipped off our team to begin with.

If you could get Wade and either Beasley or Rose (ie with the #2 pick) pretty much any combination of players is worth it, save Hinrich (you need a PG).

Id trade either Hinrich or Thomas and Deng or Gordon.
