Come on WallyHopp, KG... kid can't even get his team out of the first round. He's a good player but not top 5 material.

He might be able to get them out of the first round this year. Also, if you took KG off the team you would have a team similar to the Cavs.

If you look at him: 24 PPG, 13 Rebounds, 6 Assists, 50% FG Percentage

...those are killer stats. I don't think he should be in the top 5 of all time just yet. If he plays as good or better than he is playing this year, in the next 3-10 years, he's a shoe in for one of the greatest of all time.

We're talking about a guy who can dunk, layup, shoot from long range, mid range, short range and even shoot threes pretty well.

And, he even shoots well from the FT line.

Most of the guys I choose may be top 5, in 7-8 years. I guess you can call it the top 5 "potential" all time greats.

KG's having career numbers in rebounds and points, w/o starting PG Terrel Brandon, the man who gets the rock to him.

It's hard to compare positions, due to the fact their roles are different when it comes to the team. But if I had to pick the 5 most valuable players of all time, regardless of position, it would go something like this.

5 Kareem Abduel Jabbar
4 Hakeem Olajuwon
3 Larry Bird
2 Magic Johnson
1 Michael Jordan
