Remember when I ranted about Rip Hamilton being a dirty player?

Just a personal observation: For whatever reason, Rip Hamilton showed up in several of these videos. And time and again, what he did looked clean at game speed. But in slow motion, just about every time he was involved, he was actually committing a foul.

He's this generation's Reggie Miller, cept a little less obvious IMO. Miller's leg-kick BS used to drive my crazy.

He is my least favorite player of all time being a Knicks fan, but I don't think I was ever more pissed at him than in the 98 Playoffs against the Bulls.

LOL, I remember screaming at the TV like crazy after he pushed off like crazy on that play. Esp since he ran down the court and pranced around like a school girl after the shot went in. Argh!

Dirty is making a purposeful play to cause harm or injure a player. Are you saying this is what Rip is doing? Or are you saying he subtlely commits fouls that the refs don't call?

I'm glad that foul on LeBron didn't end up costing the Cavs a trip to the Finals.

Rip was punished by being eliminated by the Cavs, LeBron didn't win a title. It's all balanced anyway

Well I think he is cheap and dirty. In the playoffs he did some messed up stuff to Ray Allen. In one instance he straight up clenched Ray's throat while Ray was going around a screen. And it wasn't like an accident, he held that s***. In a twist of karma, that was the play Rip hurt his elbow on haha.

I'll have to see some of these plays then. I've never noticed him doing anything dirty. Some guys, like Reggie, know how to do things out of the vision of the refs (which actually isn't that hard). But I would call them a cheater & cheap, not dirty. I'll try & take notice this season & see.

Richard Hamilton has degraded more and more in my eyes ever since they won the NBA championship against the Lakers. It seemed like he was more of a true basketball player. Now, he flops everytime he can get away with it...and sometimes when he can't. He's even passing on his disease to Prince at times.......

Glad the NBA is cutting down on that crap.
