Denver played solid defense -- we just couldn't do anything about Boozer making tough contested post looks basically. The first half was kinda rough with Brewer blowing by AC and Kleiza (who was TERRIBLE), but they played well overall I thought. Damn refs calling a lane violation with 12 seconds left in the 4th quarter of a 2-point game... totally ridiculous... Especially considering (as George Karl mentioned) that Utah makes a living off of jumping the shot on free throws and getting offensive boards (which they did twice earlier in the game). The Jazz = Hatehatehatehatehatehatehatehate

I like what I see from Denver though... considering that we were without Melo, the offense was running pretty well (AC and Kleiza took some bad shots early in the clock), JR looked great once again despite barely rimming out some early threes, Balkman/Birdman are my heroes off the bench, and I liked Dahntay Jones' effort on defense and his aggressiveness. We need Nene to not dribble so damn much in the post and stop taking stupid fouls, but aside from that, both him and K-Mart played well.

SMH at Martin taking the last shot last night when you have Klieza, Ivo and Smith out there. WTF was that? Don't know if it was Ivo's fault for passing it to him, Karl's fault for the play, or Martin's fault for taking it. Probably all of the above.

Yeah, it was Martin's fault for taking it -- he probably lost track of the clock, but he had like 4 seconds to get the ball to JR when he shot that. JR was standing in the corner too, though he had a man on him (which means nothing to JR). Ha, I'd rather Martin take that than Kleiza -- yeesh, two airballs last night.. that was rough. Dude isn't a good shooter but he hangs out there and like Barkley says, "That boy has NO conscience!"

Yeah i was surprised to see it for a Saturday, it's too bad it's not in L.A. Would've loved to go on a Saturday afternoon/night being that i live about 2 hours away and only good time i could go to a game is Sundays and maybe Fridays. That's the only Saturday game for them i think.
