The big upgrade over AI is that he can run the half-court sets perfectly and make very smart decisions when we end up in a grind-it-out kind of game i.e. playoffs.

      Bottom line is AI is not a PG, just becuz he is 5'11 that automatically make him a PG and since he is not effiencent running the point, that make him a system player? LOL this ain't draft day, I think he proved he can be a great SG in this league, he just need a PG...Snow, ollie, carter, atkins and even Hughes don't cut it.....

      My definition of a PG is: a player who can run an offense, plays great on ball def and one who can hit the open shot...IMO all PG should be pass first...

        Apparently, because of the fact that Billups has not passed his physical yet, AI can't play tonight against TO.

        DENVER -- Chauncey Billups will not make his Denver Nuggets debut on Wednesday night at Golden State.
        The Nuggets said Tuesday that Billups didn't have enough time to get to the Bay Area. He was scheduled to take a physical Thursday in Denver to complete the deal.
        Allen Iverson is awaiting the results of Billups' physical before being allowed to play for Detroit.
        "I'm just ready to go," said Iverson, who has taken a physical. "Hopefully everything gets taken care of ... and I'll be able to get on the court with my team and try to learn these plays as fast as possible."
        Iverson will likely make his home debut Sunday night against the defending champion Boston Celtics. Billups will likely play in his first game for the Nuggets on Friday night when they host the Dallas Mavericks.
        Denver acquired Billups, a point guard and Denver native, along with Antonio McDyess and Cheikh Samb from Detroit on Monday in exchange for Iverson.
        Billups was in Charlotte with the Pistons when the deal took place.

          Pretty unstoppable scorer but thats pretty much all he does... it was cool in college when he rode that to a national championship but damn id liek to think you can improve on your game in the nba and learn how to use your talents to maximize the talents of others around you.

            Hah, truth... and he still shoots a great percentage. That's what's so crazy and why I'm optimistic about his chances of being scoring leader this year. If her gets more assisted buckets, his numbers will only rise, especially with Iverson out of the picture now. The extra spacing that the Billups/JR backcourt will provide should open things up for him.

                        Do it to put pressure on the person guarding him and also on the big men who have to help out on penetration. Get opposing guys in foul trouble, get teammates standing on the perimeter better open looks, and get teammates standing near the basket a dunk/layup opportunity with a timely dump-off pass that doesn't get deflected.

                          At least God doesn't FORCE the defender to bite on the jab step like someone else does to defenders that are manually guarding an offensive player jab stepping (cough cough 2k....)
