This man Anthony Morrow is WET, and he can create enough space to get his jumper off, he can dribble, enough to create for someone else (not talking kobe handles or anything of that nature)
Last night the blazers whole gameplan was basically to stop him from scoring and he still dropped 25 on them... and no they werent all threes, or wide open jumpers.
What he was doing was Michael Redd"ish"...
As a matter of fact I dont see any scenario where he couldnt develop into a player of michael redds caliber... YES, its early, YES its only two games... but the coach has enough confidence in him to run plays for him, and thats all it really takes to make a good NBA Player. Confidence and consistency.
I will offer up this little bit of information.
I watched this kid in summer league (in person), and the same stroke was there.. Im talking the SAME stroke...At Georgia Tech he had the SAME Stroke...and the confidence is not lacking at all.
sometimes guys just need a chance to prove themselves in the league, not everyone comes in with a "name"... HELL, Michael Redds first couple years in the league he couldnt even shoot.
anyway, I really hope for the warriros sake that this isnt an abbarattion and he can be someone we can rely on to get 18-20ppg.
Imagine that , undrafted, training camp invitee, next thing you know your starting avg'n 20ppg in the NBA.
Amazing.
