    how can you expect that? the roster is garbage. they have two top 5 picks and they draft 2 small forwards. on top of letting one go in FA.

    they were gutting this team to make it easier to move and then they expect to see development???

    oh well, i'm sure the checks all cashed.

      So your argument is that they had no expectations for Carlesimo at all?

      That doesn't make sense.

      The D'Antoni Knicks vs. the Zeke Knicks illustrates my point. Sure, the Knicks are just over .500 right now, but even in their losses, they show a unified focus towards running, effort, energy and sticking to the gameplan.

      The Thunder showed no conceivable gameplan, and while it's acceptable to lose to better teams, I could see how it would be unacceptable for them to look as aimless as they did early last year.

      They were probably looking for "losing, but improving" until they could get some vets through trades and FAs.
