all these reports are based on potential. I've seen probably 10 or so minutes combined from different clips of videos around the net. Combined with scouting reports and age+height+skill= the guy has everything. Not to mention just recently he had a game where he dropped like 38 points on like 16-18 shooting with 9 boards in like 25 minutes. Better game than Lebron has ever had, and he plays against highschoolers. I like Lebron alot, but until he finds that consistent jumper in the NBA he'll have some problems. Any kid with that kinda of athletic ability and great passing ability I'll take on my team. Based on everything I've seen and read their's no doubt in my mind that Darko is a better prospect. Time will tell.

i'm hearing what you are saying. and just to make it known, in case people do get me wrong, i am in no way putting down Darko Milicic. this guy could be great and i hope he does. but you said you've seen 10 minutes of him while here in America, a couple of LeBron's games have been on national tv, not to mention people in Ohio i'm sure were able to watch hi games on local cable.
you said LeBron never had a game like the one you described Darko had recently. great game but LeBron during his sophomore year had a game of 16-20 from the field...41 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. sounds good to me. i mean...yeah it's against highscoolers, but Darko's not playing against all stars himself, otherwise they all would be over here playing in the league. plus LeBron's played against NBA players in pick up games...just like Kobe Bryant was playing pick up games against the Sixers' players before he was drafted and also with Temple players while being watched by John Cheney. and LeBron's been to the camps that have the best players in the country who have gone onto college or will be. and you say until he finds that consistent jumper, he'll have probs in the league. but very much so will Darko. hell, everybody who comes in as rookies have to develop a consistent jumper. because the higher in talent you go against, the more your shot selection is altered and your jump shot will take a hit. so that's why for both players it won't be a cake walk. i've even said in another thread that it will take about 3-4 years until LeBron maybe becomes the player he can be.
so basically what i am saying is just by me saying all that tells me i know more about LeBron than Darko. all of us do. none of us have seen enough...not nearly enough of Darko. so for any of us to say that we know Darko is a better prospect is beyond me. now an NBA GM or scout might say Darko is a better prospect. then i would be like "oh well fine" because those people have full games on tape of Darko playing and have took visits to watch him play and talked to him. but for me...as a regular person that is not a GM or scout...i'm going with what i know.
