Re: 76ers fired Maurice Cheeks
So where is all these turnovers he created if they only gave up three less points?? But lets not forget about the fact that they are playing faster and there are more possesions in the game meaning more shots for both teams. Come on man take off the 76ers love blinders and see what is really happening. The facts are the facts and the team is playing better without him. It was a bad signing from the start. You want to talk about turnovers Brand is turning it over more than he has in over 5 years and he is putting up career worst number all across the board except for rebounding. That is the only thing he has done well.
Quick question: How in the holy hell would you know Brand can't play with this team on the fast break???
Because with Mo, they weren't playing that style this year.Comment

Re: 76ers fired Maurice Cheeks
Shav started some games I can guarantee that. Jason Smith was in the rotation last year from day one! He played in 76 games.
Jason Smith obviously was in the rotation last year. But he only started one game.
You said started. Just pointing that out.
I bow before you? I think the early struggles were from acclimating Elton Brand and the fact Louis Williams couldn't provide enough scoring punch off the bench. How that is Mo's problem I have no idea. But to say that Ed Stafanski made Mo play the rookies and then fired him for playing Elton Brand too much is a little weak.
Iguodala and Williams got off to slow starts because they were not in the best of shape. Thus, starting off cold. Iguodala did the same thing last season.
It is known fact that Stefanski asked Mo to play Thad Young. Before then, Thad was Mr. Bench Boy. And where did you get that Mo was fired because he played Brand too much??? You are really, really way beyond your borders here.
We all know Ed Stefanski didn't want Mo as his coach. He just needed an excuse to fire him.Comment
