If we can get another legit scorer to replace RJ's production, I think we can be a middle of the pack team in the East. But we're getting there though...slowly but surely lol

Knew we should've re-signed Mason last year, he was doing good for us as the point man when AD went out. Even though now, I think Nick Young is picking up that slack, but I do sure miss Roger Mason. Glad he's on a good team and showing his talent, He could always shoot the ball when he was at Virginia. Good pickup by the Spurs.

Look like Mason learned a little something from Agent Zero on being so Clutch.

                            lakers/spurs great game

re the fouls/no-calls/refs, in any game you gonna find no-calls, missed calls, bad calls, etc thruout the game. that travel call did not decide the game. should have been a no-call , imo.

if you say contact with ginoboli was a foul, then go back and look at contact from Gasol on Duncans last shot (around 30 sec mark)and you see more contact (gasol bumps him all the way to the basket )and no foul was called there either.(which is good imo)i like letting them play defense a little and both no-calls on that contact is a good thing.

end-game situations if lakers want that call made, they should keep it in kobe's hands to put more pressure on the refs to blow the whistle. kobe had the whole left side of the court cleared out and passed to ariza way out top? the double team was coming from ginoboli from the foul line/top of the key(from kobe's right). he could have driven left and had an open lane. then the refs have to decide if contact on KOBE is a foul or not vs contact on ariza?. bad decision by kobe cost la the game.

lol, ariza not very likely to get any call at the end of the game.

I was thinking the same thing. He made the right decision. Give the Spurs credit. They made a late defensive adjustment, got away with some contact and rotated enough to break up the play. Kobe made the right move though. Give it to the open man. If you look at that play, Ariza had Gasol AND Fisher open. Ginobli getting away with the contact and the subsequent traveling call was just a bad bounce for LA, but that wasn't a situation decided by mistakes. Everyone was making plays, and the only ones who didn't show up were the refs.
