But, SHAQ is dominating right now. I would even venture to say that he is the MVP of the Suns.
That's right. I'd put his play above Nash and Amare's. SHAQ has been there best player.
He's still a force in this league. Still unstoppable. Still commands a double or triple team. Still stuffing it down people's throats.
And now, he's knocking down free throws

I'd say SHAQ is the second best center in the league right now. Ahead of Yao and behind Dwight. He should be starting for the West All Stars as far as I'm concerned.
The Suns are now 5th in the West after looking like they wouldn't even make the playoffs. And a large part of it has to do with SHAQ's play out there.
He's doing it all. Rebounding, scoring, passing, defending, and staying out of foul trouble.
What's funny is that I remember people saying that he's washed up. Or he's on the decline. That he doesn't have anything left. Not just on OS, but analysts as well.
I also remember how people were saying that the trade was ludacris. Hell, I was one of them. But the way the Suns are playing now, it looks like the smart move.
The only thing is that it hasn't been against the toughest of competition as of late. But, SHAQ is looking really good in any case. Motivated, determined, and wanting to make a statement.
Over the last 12 games, SHAQ is averaging 22.5 PPG, 10.1 RPG, and about 2 blocks. For these 12 games, Phonix is 10-2.
Phoenix is 20-9 when SHAQ plays. Only 2-4 when he misses time. That tells you something.
I hope he can keep this up. Or at least do this in playoff time. I love seeing this as he is one of my favorite players of all time.
..And let's not forget, he's 36! Right now, he looks like he can compete for another 4 years and still be one of the best in the league.

SHAQ, you are the man....
