I would say that I would I agree with you being born and raised in Charlotte, but looks Wallace will be out for a long time, and w/o him I don't see them making the playoffs.

        ...um.... ok....

From what I've learned from fellow members of OS, that's not going to work around here.

Bring some facts or some reasons "why" you feel that way as a basis for this argument.

IF they make the playoffs, barring them being a 4 or 5 seed, have less than a 5% shot at making the second round.

The Cats are either going to match up with: the Cavs, C's, Magic or Hawks. Hence the

So I guess every other team in front of them should just go ahead and forfeit the rest of the season since it's settled that they will make the playoffs.

in general, how long does it take to recover from a broken rib?

I know that recovery from a collapsed lung generally isn't that long. But I am unsure of a broken rib

They're not making the Playoffs. And if they do, they're CERTAINLY not getting into the 2nd round. I think the Nets will grab the last spot. But the Bobcats aren't any better than the teams in front of them, and even the Pacers have as great of a chance because they have one of the easiest schedules in the league from here on out.

That's the key error in the OP's statement. I think the Bobcats can make the playoffs, but to get higher than a 7th seed is going to be nearly impossible. No way they'll get past Cleveland or Boston.

Wait, Wallace suffered a broken rib? How the hell? I watched the highlights of that game on SportsCenter and it didn't look that hard...certainly not hard enough to break someones rib. Damn.

I'm just glad I was able to watch the freaking game, which is hit or miss around these parts. Before last night, it was more than a month since I was able to see a game. For watching Bobcats games, I think I was better off when the majority of the games were shown on News 14.

Thats the reason i hate the bobcats franchise, 1 less game I can watch a night. I need a partial refund from directv because I am NOT getting what i paid for.

Blame it on the 'Canes. Sad though. Since NC is filled with such die-hard hockey fans.

Living in Gastonia, we get to pretty much see all the games over here.
