2nd round I go for this H.S. prospect that I`m gushing about because the Knicks have no athletic bodies on their damn roster.

    nbaDraft.net Travis Outlaw.

They`re comparing him to Darius Miles. 6'9" swingman and at his age, he might put on another inch or two. This pick serves two purposes:
    1) the aforementioned lack of athleticism on the Knicks and
    2) to get the Garden rocking again with some excitement (what...an actual dunk by a Knicks player ).

I`d be quite happy with the draft if these 2 moves were made (hopefully Travis Outlaw will slip to the 2nd round).

As a Mississippi State fan, I am praying Outlaw doesn't enter the draft. He's been quoted as saying, if he's a lottery pick, he's going pro. Most scouts see him as a mid first round pick at this point. For those who don't know him, he's from Starkville, Mississippi a McDonald's and Parade All-American, and rated the #4 prospect by ESPN.com. But if he enters, he will not drop below 20.

i thought i had some secret pick going on there...lol. i never knew he was such a highly rated prospect. screw logic Knicks/Layden. Logic obviously never worked for us anyway, so go against the grain like a Don Nelson. Draft this kid and let the naysayers bicker.

well, then, the knicks IMO should draft him if they have a low lottery pick and hope Chris Marcus slips to the 2nd round.

AND to the kid who compared Chris Marcus to Marcus Camby....Marcus Camby was highly touted coming out of college (POY runner-up i believe). Chris Marcus put up good numbers despite being injured.

And, there are few Rookies who are going to come into the league and have an immediate impact. In no way do I think alot of these rookies will come into the season and be in the starting lineup.
