I know it's Anthony Johnson, but I think that's the best you can come up with at this point.

Earl is a nice distrubtor, but he's shooting horrendously right now. In fact his career FG % is UGLY.

Tinsley hasn't played all season neither has White Choco.

I dunno I'd ride with Johnson, but if you're gonna deal for someone, I'd go with Earl.
We don't really need a PG that can shoot, though. It's a nice option to have, but Jameer is really the fourth option in our offense. If we replace him with a solid perimeter defender and a guy who can handle the ball and keep turnovers down, but doesn't have any shooting range, it won't hurt us too bad.

Tinsley and White Chocolate are emergency plans. We currently have no backup PG, so if we sign any PG, it would probably be to come off the bench. No way I want Tinsley if we have to trade for him though, his contract is 2 yrs/14.7 million. I'm just looking at guys who have some experience and who are capable of making a few plays, and these are two that have game that I like, especially if they split time with AJ.

    Some thoughts about coaching adjustments:
Hedo can create for himself and others, he's gonna need to step up big time in this stretch.
Courtney Lee running PG full time... could it work? Move him to the point and start Pietrus again.
Can Anthony Johnson play 30+ mpg at his age?
Is our offensive pace going to need to slow down?
MIKE WILKS! I haven't even seen this guy play this year... Oh, because he's out for the season. He'll be the first to get cut.

You guys are missing where I said "can shoot a little". Tins, Watson cannot shoot a lick.

But yeah Brankles is right, definitely need a backup. Watson should start if you guys nab him though.

Just read my posts above as a reply.

YOU SAID "SHOOT" EX, AND WE ARE NOT LETTING YOU TAKE IT BACK!!!

Seriously though, I think they need a defender/distributor/penetrator more so than a shooter. Like someone else said, they can get a guy to do the things that Nelson wasn't so great at, and get more easy buckets for Howard while being able to keep Rondo and Williams from going off.

I was totally kidding about Marbury, btw. I still stand by my earlier judgement; he can only go to a veteran team with extremely strong leadership.

On Marbs, you got me with that one, but I honestly wouldn't mind if I'm a Magic fan.

We shall see what the timetable is, apparently they say by the end of the week they'll know.

Is Ramon Sessions still on the block? Its time to get rid of JJ.

This sucks, I was looking forward to watching the Magic in the ECF.

The counter to losing a scoring PG would be to add a defensive/distributor type. What you lose w/ Jameer you make up for in other areas. Maybe they don't need to score as much since Watson will hold the opposing PG to less than what Jameer would.

                    That would be me...

And, Ex, a PG who can shoot a little/ a lot, whatever, isn't needed on this Orlando team when Dwight can take over the paint, and thier inside/outside game is great w/ Hedo/Rashard/Pietrus.

Watson would bring something else to the table that this Orlando team doesn't have even w/ Jameer, a solid perimeter/distributor at the 1.

I think they'd have a better starting 5 if they added Watson, and Jameer was back in time for the playoffs.

Yeah I agree. As much as Jameer shoots, he's a point guard not an off-guard.

                          Sorry about Nelson, good player.

Lue and Jones might be available, but they are shooters and don't defend.

Sessions could be on the block, but from what I'm hearing, the Bucks want to depart with Charlie V vs Sessions.

He's really no different than Ben Gordon IMO...I guess minus 3 inches and 10 lbs.

So he could stay at the point...whatever.

I mean he'd still see some favorable matchups either way given the load of shooters Orlando has, and that Howard guy in the middle.

Who would Orlando have to move to take on Watson?

Iono my man, didn't Jameer play point in college? By sight I see that he's a natural point guard. When I look at Gordon I get more of the off-guard feel. It seems like Gordon has never played the point guard position.
