    AI in 2009-2010?

Where is Allen Iverson going to play next season? No contender is going to sign him because he's seen as having a detrimental effect on a team (i.e. 2008-2009 Pistons). Maybe a bad team needing to increase ticket sales might sign him, but I can't think of any team he would fit with.
Also, what kind of contract is going to get? With the "Summer of 2010" looming, no team is going to be willing to mess up their cap space. I have feeling the best deal he can get is the midlevel exception.
    Thoughts?

Have you seen their record? Do you think it would be that bad with Chauncey Billups still on the team?
I think Iverson's a great player, but he needs to be on a team where he is basically the lone scoring threat (as C-Webb said - he needs to play with 5 robots).

AI needs to be used for straight up, 25+ per game scoring with Defenders and Shooters around him. He should be allowed to cheat into the passing lanes.

        Point: Big Defensive Guard Shooter
        2 Guard: AI
SF: Defensive and 3 point Specialist
        PF: Defensive minded Offensive Rebounder
        C: Rebounder, Shotblocker, Passer
        6: G/F Scorer/defender

Charlotte Bobcats. He won't win a title with them, but he could turn the franchise around.
"Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."

They should create an expansion team where he is on the roster with rotating members of the Big Brother, Big Sister program. That way he will be able to play his game while a bunch of young children are given the NBA experience each game.

It could be like the Sixers of old, before he left.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Players like Snow, T.Hill, A.McKie, G.Lynch or T.Ratliff knew what they were doing or how to play ball. Unless you mean all the Iguodalas, Carneys or Korvers

So, you say that the record is all his fault right?

Not all his fault (Rasheed's total disappearing act during a contract year is a big problem), but it is a huge factor. The chemistry on the court just isn't right with that team. Since I'm a Cavs fan, I love it.

There are many problems with the team and the players, but putting it all on AI is just unfair.

You got a rookie coach, 2nd year pg, no rebounding, no team leader.

These are the real problems, not Allen Iverson.

My problem with AI is that he has probably lost some of the fire and passion he has been known for. Sometimes I get the impression he doesn't care anymore. I'm mad he doesn't have the guts to come in front and be vocal..f@#$% this fitting in and just be AI.

I heard an interview with Dumars today. He said that he (AI) is doing everything he has been asked for, but what else he can say.

                      Wow, great topic.

I can't see A.I. going to any team really. I'm stumped.

                      Maybe TOR?

Nuggets are better without him, aren't they?

Maybe because he, doesn't care. When is career is all set and done, he'll have 0 rings.

Philly. He will be back there. Louis Williams isn't quite ready. Andre Miller looks like he will be traded. AI fits in perfect with the running Sixers and it makes a lot of sense for both sides.

Philly needs someone to take end of quarter/game shots.

AI is a 25-34 minute a game 16-22ppg scorer nowadays. So I think he is a different fit than we usually think of AI....age is the greatest equalizer.

The Pistons are barely above .500. Are you trying to say that you can't consider their record when talking about Iverson's impact on the team?
