Re: Are we headed for...
1. That isn't that great of a line up
2. Barring him getting some real help, Durant will probably dip out of Oklahoma as soon as he can
Because they can win more in a better city elsewhereI can't quote cause I'm on my phone but I wanted to know why the expectation is that mayo and gay will leave memphis.Comment

Re: Are we headed for...
Over/Under the number of Finals Appearances by the Blazers in the next 5 years-1.5
What do you take? I'd take the under everyday of the week.MLB: New York Yankees
NBA: New Jersey Nets
NFL: Detroit Lions / New York Giants
NCAA: UNC

Re: Are we headed for...
LOL ehh, I thought about listing 8 but those 5 seem like the obvious ones that will win AND attract big name players.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Are we headed for...
factoring in that westbrook is only 20, durant is 20, weaver is a nice compliment to them both, being a very good rebounder and a really good defender. as well as a poent shooter.
jeff green is the only one im iffy on.
but they dont need much, and they are very young.
id say they will be good in the future.#SimnationComment

Coaching would be a good start and not some young up and comer either.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Are we headed for...
The Lakers are going to be the team the next 5 years with Bynum growing and Kobe NOT slowing down much because of his play style and his physical conditioning.
However, when this dynasty (if it ever makes it to "dynasty") crumbles it will crumble fast because everyone knows Phil will take off as soon as it does.Comment

Re: Are we headed for...
Hate to break it to you Tehova but I think there is a 1% chance that OJ stays in Memphis after his rookie contract is up. With another high lottery pick coming up, the Grizzlies will be in the exact same position the Blazers will be in, forced to choose between what youngins to sign.
Only difference between Memphis & Portland is that the Blazers are actually a decent team record wise.Comment

are ya'll referring to not signing their 1st extension with the team aka not picking up their player option in like year 4. Or are you saying after THAT extension they wont resign with the team. Because I dont see anybody turning down that amount of money that early in their career; you may never make that money up. Winning will never be that importantEricmaynor3.com

Re: Are we headed for...
Once again, I will say this:
I made a mistake in using the word Dynasty. It's apparent that word should not be thrown around so loose around here.
On the other hand, if things go exactly right, like I stated in another post in this thread, I don't see how you could argue against the Blazers and Cavaliers. I'm not saying that other teams don't matter and I'm not saying the Blazers and Cavaliers will absolutely win several titles in the next decade.
What I am saying, however, is that Blazers Cavaliers will be a finals match up sometime in the next 3 years and I feel very confident in that prediction.Too Old To Game Club

Re: Are we headed for...
Assuming both these teams stay exactly the same with no change over whatsoever, it would be a clean sweep everytime they would meet in the Conference Finals or any other round for that matter.#RespectTheCultureComment
