    Re: All Jordan Talk . . .

JRod, Thank you. I wanted to get a tattoo of something that meant something to me also. And considering Jordan was the one player that I knew I would always love, I decided to get his symbol, the jumpman. I am gonna get it fixed up soon. Right now, it's all black but I am gonna outline it in silver.

Westybro, if you dont have anything nice to say, shut the hell up!

And for your info, here's a true story that actually happened to me:
I went to Mohegan Sun Casino during the pre-season last year. It just so happened that the Wizards were playing the Celtics that night at the basketball arena. So after the game, Jordan and some of the other players (Rip Hamilton, Tyronn Lue, Antoine Walker) went down to the casino for a little high-stakes blackjack. Well, my friends aren't big basketball fans so they went about their business. But I had never met Jordan before so I just couldn't give up this opportunity to see him. So I sat by a slot machine as close to him as I could get (which was still about 25 feet away because of ridiculous security measures). Anyway, as I was playing, some girl sat next to me. Tyronn Lue noticed the girl and started hitting on her. He invited her down to where they were seated. As she went down, Lue noticed that my sleeve was rolled up and that I had the Jordan tattoo on my arm. So he asks me, "Yo, is that real?" I said "Yes." He said, "Yeah right." So I rubbed my arm to show him it wouldn't rub off. So he is like, "Yo, that is phat." So he turns around and yells out "M." Then he yells it again, "Yo M!" Finally, Jordan hears him and stands up and says, "Yeah?" Lue says, "Check out this guy's tattoo of you on his arm." So Jordan and Antoine Walker stand up and start STARING AT MY TATTOO. Jordan stares at me, smiles, and says, "You da man." Antoine Walker stares, smiles, and yells out, "Yeah son!" Rip Hamilton also notices and smiles and so does ESPN Sportscenter analyst Stuart Scott, who was also there. Greatest moment of my life!!! So Westybro, sometimes a tattoo like this pays off.

Bump . . . make this a sticky as a tribute to MJ. It will get more attention if it is a sticky.

Super Mike will live forever. He was an American Icon not just a basketball player. The NBA will never be as appealing w'out # 23

They should, shouldn't they? No athlete has been more synonimous with a their jersey number more than Mike Jordan.

for a team maybe but not league wide....I love MJ and what he did for the sport, but the nba has been treating him like he invented the game...just let him retire in peace.
