Here are the slightly modified team slider settings. I suggest that you should reduce the team your using (in one player mode only) crash boards slider by two. This is to maximise the oppositions rebounding power without sacrifising gameplay and realism.

Again, any suggestions or comments are most welcome.

One thing to be careful of, and I know it's kind of stupid to say it as it's me scoring, but I have found that using Philly and having them set to high fast break...it is just way, way too easy for me to (when I get a D board) to outlet to AI who can go from half court and lay it up absolutely unchallenged 80% of the time.

I had to put Philly down to 14...

Again, we shouldn't have to do this...to cut off things that make it easy to score(please sega fix the AI!)...but I just thought I'd post what I have found.

Re: Antigravity\'s Team and Gameplay Sliders

I just started a franchise with the 76ers, and I'm using my team sliders, and didn't have a problem at all with AI on the fastbreak.. Infact for some reason it felt like AI was labouring abit. However I'm sure the amount you get fast break points relies heavily on the opposition you play. I played the Bucks and won by 10 points (have a look at franchise forum).

Are you using mine, or ninja's sliders? With my sliders, the speed slider is lower than ninja's, therefore harder to get on the break, and to run around defenders etc..

Also, I'm going to slightly modify my sliders. I'll have the edited ratings in bold, and the amount in which they were modified.

Thanks for the feedback guys, i'm really enjoying this!

Away Dunk% - 26

Away Layup/Dunk vs Shot - 29 (-6)

AI Close Shot - 12 (+1)
AI Medium Shot - 28
AI 3pt Shot - 32
AI Dunk/Layup - 25

All Fouls - 40 (full)

Steals - 0
Blocks - 10 (-1)
Speed - 14

Def Awareness - 7
Injuries - 11
Def Stopping Power - 13 (+1)

Not many massive changes, apart from the dunk/layup vs shot. This IMO is something I can't really base on statistics (as i'm in australia and don't have the opportunity to watch basketball) however, I still have a basic understanding of human physics and the laws the govern them, so I can't exactly imagine Tim Duncan jumping from outside the key to slam/lay it up of only one step with a defender right infront of him.. which is definitely possible with a rating any higher than 32.

I think my lower speed rating and slightly upgraded defensive awareness can eliminate the speed in which a player can run around a pick/twist around a posted up player.

I'm gonna try your sliders when I wake up..After I go to bed, because my last two games with ninja's sliders and your team sliders I finished Clippers and Hawks by about 40 points..too fast.

But I had 3 awesome games/

Thanks mate (<--- don't ask i'm an aussie!)

Yeah, I felt that the gameplay was a bit to fast, It felt like I was playing NBA Live a little bit. No doubt it was fun, but too fast for me.

Yeah so give em a go, and tell us what you think.

ANTIGRAVITY , YOU DONT WATCH BASKETBALL???? I HAVE BEEN USING YOUR SLIDERS ALL THIS TIME...HMMM....if you want to know how the pick and roll was fixed it was fixed by increasing def. awareness all the way and def. stop power all the way and speed at 15. and HOME /AWAY DUNK /LAYUPS VS. SHOT ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 0 , AND IM GETTING REAL STATS AND I DO WATCH BASKETBALL

Yeah, I don't watch NBA basketball, but I have a very good understanding of it (i used to watch it alot), and I'm a stat freak. I used to know every single player's height/weight/stats/ just off the top of my head.

But seriously, everyone has their own opinion on how basketball should be realistically depicted in a computer game. All I'm doing here is posting what I think is best, and sharing it with others, who can modify them to what they like, or if they think they're perfect, use them as they are.

All i'm doing is giving you an opportunity to try them. And obviously you are trying them, so thats great!

I just played another game in my franchise. I lost to the Magic by 11 points. My team shot .455 from the field (end scores were 104-93) with the computer controlled team scoring 33 points with McGrady, 15 with Hill, and 12 with PG Darrell Armstrong.

Like I said, I'm not having this problem with the PG's scoring all over me, and because I reduced the defensive stopping power, I don't find it easy to run around picks because I get guys swarming all over me. I can't wait to play another game. I'm loving it. And it's so challenging now!
