The only thing he doesn't do as well as or better than Ronny is block shots. Ronny is a great shot blocker, and with the way the Lakers struggle to stop dribble penetration someone is need to be a deterrent at the rim. But yeah, they made the right call financially.

PS-The Lakers need to run more of those backpick lobs for Jordan. Teams aren't expecting it, I bet they could get 2 or 3 per game if they really look for it.

PPS- Just as I finished typing this, they tried another one, I think that it will be a new wrinkle in the Laker offense.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

      Fixed.

Landry is one of my favorite Rockets and surprisingly one of the BEST in-game dunkers in the league. 8 points and 7 boards in 10 minutes... wow.

the Jazz are like the only other team i watchin on league pass, their offense is so crisp and they actually have athletes now at all the wing positions. Lots of highlights watching them play

Lakers aren't looking like the best team in the West at all. Don't look like they could even challenge for the West.

Kobe just hasn't been able to snap into Godmode.

They don't have Bynum or Odom. Kind of big pieces missing tonight. Meanwhile we are playing at full strength (just assume T-Mac has played his last game as a Rocket).

Well ever since they lost to DEN they've looked like ish. Kobe's play has not been acceptable since that loss. Too many shots, the offense doesn't look crisp.

Lamar's been having a terrible March.

                Just saw this.

You gotta think though, Kobe is going up against Artest AND Battier taking turns on him with 7'6" Yao Ming camping out in the paint. It's not every night that Kobe is going to have to go up against two elite wing defenders. Look at how this Houston team (esp. Battier and Artest) shut down MVP James last time they met (and I mean SHUT DOWN).

For sure. Just refer to my previous post, Kobe hasn't been playing the right way consistently since they lost to DEN.

LA is going to have big problems again if they dont get their defense together in the playoffs.

It's amazing what a team looks like with a competent PG though who doesn't shoot brick three's and 0 % floaters all game.

                      Again, like making the Finals?

No but honestly L.A. never really improved all that much with rotations and switching and interior defense.

                      Hopefully Andrew is recovering fast.

Ahh, you're talking about their play of late, not just this game. Makes sense. I haven't really been following LA like that so I'll have to take your word for it. I might make a poll asking people who they think the favorite to win it all this year is. Could make for some interesting discussion (I still think it's LA).

I like this Houston Rockets team though. They have persevered through all the drama and adversity and are just so fun to watch.

By the way, all this talk about the Jazz

[Player *****'s Ball] "HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE" [/Player *****'s Ball]

(I think) No one mentioned that the Hawks broke their streak tonight.

Makes me happy. I would love to hold on to the 3 seed, but with the rough schedule we have, we have to rely on other teams dropping some games, so this was big.

Turn to the Miami Boston game if you guys have league pass.

                            Lakers (Kobe) turning it on.

This game Artest > Battier at guarding 24
