At least the Goods hustled for that board, lol. Kobe killed 'em when it counted. GG. Glad Dallas showed some life to make it interesting.

I have an ominous feeling POR will drop to #8

who said those guys were elite this season? Keep arguing with that strawman

like I said, it doesnt matter what you think anyway. You clearly dont know what you are talking about

btw, all of those guys you listed are at least 5 years older than Dirk, just fyi

ha i bet you do. That would be an easy first round for LA

Im hopin Dallas gets the Spurs. The Mavs match up better with SA to say the least

I have an ominous feeling POR will drop to #8
The Blazers do have more road games, and they went 0-3 against the Mavs this season so Dallas has the tiebreaker

glad Dallas is done with this west coast road trip. They have mostly home games, and should get Howard back soon also, which will help down the stretch.

I'd love to see a Spurs-Blazers matchup. That could be very interesting.

I honestly don't see it. S.A. would sweep them especially if Manu is back by then. Are you thinking along the lines of BOS/ATL last year? Or am I way off.

I think the Blazers will definitely lose in the first round assuming they have to play either LA, SA, Utah or NO's

I should have been more clear. I just think it'll be interesting. I'd be interested to see how Brandon Roy grows in that series, if Oden and Aldridge step up or fade back, and how the Blazers react to night after night of great defense. The Blazers won't win the first round most likely, regardless of matchup, but against SA I think it's a good step for a young team to have that as a first playoff experience.

If they played the Lakers and LA just shoots the lights out for four games, there really isn't much learning involved in that.

no no no. SA/Dallas is the better matchup. The Mavs have a better chance against SA than Portland does....plus Im going to be going to some Spurs games, and it would be cool if it was the Mavs

the fact that you said earlier that you would rather see LA face the Mavs, tells me that Portland has a better chance against the Lakers

and imo, the Mavs have a better chance against the Spurs than the Blazers do. I agree with you that San Antonio would not have much of a problem with Portland.

but either of those teams could climb the standings even more and get the 5 or 6 seed, especially if Denver continues to drop. There is some time left...although I doubt it.

This is my ideal playoff seeding for Houston...

                            Lakers (1)
                            Blazers (8)

                            Jazz (4)
                            Hornets (5) [w/ HCA]

                            Spurs (2)
                            Mavericks (7)

                            Rockets (3)
                            Nuggets (6)

Give LA and San Antonio their worst possible 1st round matchup, we get to see CP3 vs. Deron Williams, and the Jazz and Lakers stay on the other side of the Western Conference bracket

                              Mavs as an 8 also?

Ideally, since they are one of my top 3 least favorite teams, lol.

But naw it was a mistake. I edited it.
