HUGE win tonight for us! I was so proud watching them actually close out this game tonight. This team is growing up and it's a lot of fun to watch. Carl Landry with some key hustle plays down the stretch.

My One Tree Hill was back this week so I was in and out a lot for the first three quarters, but from what I saw the team looked great (though Artest was a little trigger happy in Yao's absence).

I cannot believe the Rox are doing this well without Mac. I cannot believe they won against NO's without Yao and Mac. Wow
Well now I've got to find another guy to call 'Underrated Flopper'. He's good at it too, had me fooled one time until I saw the replay.

Deke played, Deke still get his blocks man. Can't say enough good things about Deke. Hadn't played extended mins in months really, comes in and filled in nicely.

NOH had Peja out still, he usually always finds himself open against us and draining threes.

Nah it wasn't just a little, it was way too much. He was 0/11 going into the 2nd half. All Jump shots, then started driving into the lane and we got going.

Just a tough win to keep 3rd place, wasn't expecting to get this one at all especially without Yao.

I love what the Rox are doing. Tracy packing it in seems to have worked out well, and both the Magic and Aaron Brooks benefited from the Alston deal.

I seriously doubt Skip being gone is THE main reason why they are playing this good as of late.

There is someone else gone that may have had an impact as well.

The Magic don't seem to be suffering from Skip's reign of terror, and they were losing a lot of games before he got there.

NO seriously has to go out and get CP3 some sort of wing scorer.. The likes of Rasual Butler.. Julian Wright.. Morris Peterson.. James Posey.. Antonio Daniels. Clearly not working. Peja is one person that can help spread it, but he is far past his prime and his body is telling him so.

Heh, my man JR was bombing it tonight... and Nene dunks as hard as anyone in the league. Also, I hope Balkman is okay because I love that freakin guy.

Nets look rough without Harris -- even when VC piles up the points, it's still a struggle. Hope he's not out for too long, they still have a chance to get that 8th spot...

Frank owes Devin at least 3/4ths of his salary this year.

Exactly Ex. What it is, is that Houston actually has a TEAM rather than 1-2 players (depending on injuries).

Someone on Clutchfans posted this, and even I don't believe these rosters are accurate, but if so... damn.

Remember when T-mac had that 13 in 35 seconds performance? Look who was out there to close out.

                              C - Yao
                              PF - Scott Padgett
                              SF - T-mac
                              SG - Reece Gaines
PG - Andre Barrett/Bob Sura (fouled out)

                              Remember that Dallas series?

                              C - Yao/Deke
                              PF - Ryan Bowen/Scott Padgett/Clarence Weatherspoon (WTF?!?)
                              SF - T-mac/Jon Barry
                              SG - David Wesley/Jon Barry
                              PG - Bob Sura/Mike James

Who could ever forget 05-06. Honestly, I can. I don't even remember what the bloody line up was that year especially since our big 2 were out for half of the year.

                              06-07

                              C - Yao/Deke
                              PF - Chuck Hayes/Juwan Howard
                              SF - Shane Battier
                              SG - T-mac/Luther Head
                              PG - Rafer Alston
So really, give all the credit to the greatest GM in the league for (in a very short time) transforming Yao, Tracy, and hot garbage into an actual TEAM that, despite having one of the highest paid players in the NBA sitting out (having potential career-ending surgery), has STILL managed to put together a great TEAM that's holding the three seed in the West. Not to mention that this team would be even better than they are now had Gimpy McGimpy sat out the entire season.

                              Brooks/Lowry
                              Artest/Wafer
                              Battier/Barry
                              Scola/Landry/Hayes
                              Yao/Mutumbo

Houston has a consistent lineup, and a great defensive squad. They already had great defensive principles, but adding a defensive prodigy like Artest to the mix just makes them even more impressive. I love what they're doing out there.

I also love the impact Queens is having on the playoff race.
